Walking is definitely the way to go though; I found myself discovering new corners of Verona just by taking different routes back to the hotel each day. The train station is close enough that you could easily do day trips to Venice or Milan without feeling like you’re wasting half your day in transit.

  The best thing about this little apartment is its location – right in the middle of the city – only a stone's throw from the Arena. Ideal if you're attending a performance – no need to walk long distances after a late finish. The hosts/management communicate well and were extremely helpful when an emergency delayed our departure. The property is clean and well presented and, being on the top floor is relatively isolated from city noise at night.
  
  What could be improved: It seems as if the property has had hard use and could do with a bit of a spruce up. Equipment is only just adequate though I guess there would have been more when it was originally set up.

  świetne mieszkanie, bardzo dobrze wyposażone. Lokalizacja bajeczna, w centrum, do wszystkich najważniejszych zabytków można dojść pieszo, bliziutko Areny. Doskonały nocleg dla miłośników opery i koncertów w Arenie. Blisko sklep spożywczy, kawiarnie, lodziarnie, restauracje. Bardzo dobry kontakt z gospodarzem. Polecam!

  Great communication with the host who were very supportive and attentive.

  What could be improved: The instructional video they sent could have included how to use the lift (a little confusing with two possible buttons and I nearly gave up and walked up the 4 flights of stairs) and how to use the key. The lock on the door is confusing for overseas visitors as it locks/turns 4 times

  The location is absolutely fantastic and the hosts have been great with their communication from the time I booked the apartment to our arrival. They were really great with recommending restaurants and really accommodating with other questions to help us on arrival. I’m sure they would’ve helped with most other things had I asked.
  It was lovely and clean inside the apartment and also the inside of the building itself. It was perfect for our needs.
  
  What could be improved: The sockets didn’t fit any of my eu adaptors which was a shame. This isn’t the host’s fault but maybe adding it to the property information would be helpful.
