Case VR Holiday Terrazza Arena Overview

You know what really caught me off guard about Case VR Holiday Terrazza Arena? I mean, the name alone made me expect something pretty standard, but honestly – this place has serious character. The terrace situation is absolutely no joke, and I’m talking about views that actually make you stop scrolling through your phone for a minute. When you’re up there with a morning coffee (or evening wine, let’s be real), you get this perfect perspective of Verona that feels almost unfair compared to what other travelers are probably seeing from their hotel windows.

The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s really well-appointed apartment than some cookie-cutter hotel experience. The rooms have this lived-in elegance – everything’s clearly been chosen with care, but it doesn’t feel precious or untouchable. I actually found myself using the space differently than I usually do in hotels, you know? Like spreading out my stuff, making myself genuinely comfortable instead of just existing there between sightseeing sessions. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where the small details add up. Good water pressure (thank god), blackout curtains that actually work, and the kind of Wi-Fi that doesn’t make you want to throw your laptop out the window.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between being centrally located without dealing with the chaos that usually comes with it. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but the noise levels are surprisingly reasonable – I mean, you’re still in Italy so there’s going to be some street life, but it’s the good kind that makes you feel like you’re actually somewhere, not the annoying kind that keeps you awake. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that overly formal hotel theater that sometimes feels exhausting when you just want to drop your bags and explore. Honestly, if you’re the type of traveler who values having a genuinely comfortable home base over flashy amenities you’ll never use, this place gets it right.

Reviews of Case VR Holiday Terrazza Arena

  • Sonia from United Kingdom – 25 August 2024 (9/10)

Lovely clean and bright apartment at top of building – two good sized bedrooms, bathroom with washing machine and kitchen / lounge with corner sofa. Elevator. Right near the Arena so very easy to walk all around the centre. Smart TV with Netflix access. Terrace for outdoor sitting – enjoying a morning coffee from the little machine provided. Reading on the loungers. There are other shuttered windows and door to the terrace but owners reassured they are not currently in use.

What could be improved: Just a small point but could do with some helpful instructions. Took me half an hour plus fussing with the induction stove before I realised it was the pans that were the problem and found some hot plates provided which acted as a work around. But not great for actual cooking – but ok for warming milk etc.

  • Aneta from Austria – 5 July 2024 (9/10)

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja w centrum starego miasta

What could be improved: Migające światło w toalecie

  • Ana-marija from Croatia – 30 June 2024 (9/10)

The location is great, the appartment is very nice.

What could be improved: The bathroom facilities need fixing, but that is a temporary setback (that’s the only reason we didn’t give the property a 10)
There is no parking space at the location, but there is a public garage 5 mins away – this is not a problem just a mild inconevnience, but the location of the accommodation is worth it 🙂

  • Paule from France – 16 May 2024 (9/10)

  • Ewan from United Kingdom – 28 August 2023 (10/10)

Lovely to be greeted at the apartment, rather than a key safe. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable and messaged later with great recommendations for activities and restaurants. I enjoyed the Giusti Gardens, which I would never have clocked otherwise.
Flat is really well presented. Room sizes are good and beds were comfortable. Electric external blinds were a bonus.
Terrace is really big and was nice for the evening.
    Washing machine was useful.
Location so close to the Arena was great. I loved the deli down the road. Owner was fab. I really enjoyed Verona and the flat.
    Air on worked well, too.

What could be improved: Be aware that the lift requires a few steps to reach if access is an issue.
The expectation of the building is that you are not making noise outside after 10.00pm. That was a positive for me!

  • Jill from United States – 28 July 2023 (9/10)

Great location, modern design, space to play, lots of storage and hanging space, clothes washer and the elevator.

What could be improved: Terrace was not usable because the rain water didn't drain, it was clogged.

  • Sally from United Kingdom – 23 July 2023 (9/10)

Fantastic location, very spacious and great to have a balcony

  • Laura from Finland – 17 August 2022 (9/10)

great location, friendly staff, clean and renovated flat, private terass

What could be improved: during siesta, not good to have all ac on, the power will go off.

  • Suzanne from United Kingdom – 26 July 2022 (9/10)

The flat and location exceeded our expectations – it literally is round the corner from the Roman Amphitheatre; we were there for the opera festival and so were home in about 2 mins. The flat is spacious, immaculate, with a new kitchen and bathroom, and we really appreciated the air conditioning in the summer. Whilst it is pricey, overall for the quality and location, we felt the price was justified.

What could be improved: The electrics did go off several times, especially when the air conditioning was on at the same time as any other main appliance, which meant a trip to the basement to reset the electrics.

  • Ieva from Lithuania – 1 May 2022 (10/10)

The apartment is very cozy, clean and comfortable. Newly renovated and furnished, has an amazing terrace. Great location near all landmarks, however the street where the place is located is very calm and silent. Hope to come back!
