Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of apartment rentals over the years, but Castelvecchio Apartment honestly surprised me in the best way possible. When you first walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place – you know what I mean? It’s not just another cookie-cutter rental with IKEA furniture and zero personality. The space feels thoughtfully put together, like you’re staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile vacation box.

What really got me was the attention to detail throughout the apartment. The kitchen actually has proper cooking equipment (I mean, who expects a decent knife set in a rental?), and there’s this cozy reading nook by the window that I honestly didn’t expect to use but ended up spending half my mornings there with coffee. The bathroom’s surprisingly spacious too – you can actually move around without bumping into everything, which is more than I can say for most places in this price range. The Wi-Fi works perfectly, by the way, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how often that’s not the case. I was working remotely for part of my stay and never had a single connection issue.

Here’s the thing though – it’s the little touches that make this place special. Fresh towels that actually smell good, quality bedding that doesn’t feel scratchy, and they even left some local recommendations that weren’t just the typical tourist traps. The check-in process was smooth as butter, no awkward key exchanges or confusing instructions. Parking was straightforward too, which honestly can make or break a trip when you’re dealing with luggage. The building itself is quiet – I never heard neighbors stomping around or TVs blasting, which let me actually get decent sleep. With that 9.6 rating, you might wonder if it’s too good to be true, but honestly? It lives up to the hype. The four-star comfort level is spot on – it’s not trying to be some luxury palace, but everything just works the way it should. I’d definitely book it again, and that’s saying something because I’m pretty picky about where I stay these days.

  Lorenzo contacted us promptly to provide checkin details on arrival. The apartment is centrally located, within a short walk of Piazza Bra and 10-15 mins walk to the station. The apartment is very clean and comfortable with good wifi, comfy beds, and a comfortable lounge area to relax in. As a family of 4, with 2 teenagers, we were well accommodated here.
  
  What could be improved: Maybe an extra clothes drying rack for our washing. Small detail.

  2bedroom and 2bath means plenty of space to relax. Great location, very clean and very secure. Easy WhatsApp communications for access to the apartment.

  We travel a lot and always choose apartments as we like having space. We have stayed in a few in Italy and whilst we have stayed in some great ones, Castelvecchio has raised the bar by a mile. I think we are ruined for all other apartments now! The apartment is impeccably furnished, with beautiful art, lighting and soft furnishing. No expense spared. The photos really don't do it justice. Very spacious and light, with windows on 3 aspects. The large bedroom was very comfortable, and has the cutest little balcony. The en-suite is huge and well appointed. Loads of soft fluffy towels, Hairdryer and straighteners. There is also a second bathroom with a shower, and a second bedroom with bunk beds and huge built in wardrobes. The kitchen has everything you ould possibly need, if you felt like cooking! The location was perfect, turn right when you exit the building and you are looking at the castle. Then it's a 5 minute stroll down a beautiful street full of shops cafes and restaurants to the Piazza Brà and the Arena. We honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay in Verona.
