What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being smack in the centro storico. Sure, you’ll hear some foot traffic during the day – it’s the historic center, not the suburbs – but by 10 PM things settle down nicely. The whole building has this solid, old-world construction that actually keeps street noise to a minimum. Parking is… well, it’s the historic center, so you know what you’re getting into there, but there are options within walking distance if you absolutely need to drive. The three-star rating feels about right – you’re paying for location and authenticity rather than marble bathrooms and room service, and frankly, that’s exactly what makes sense when you want to experience Verona like an actual person rather than a tourist passing through.

  Great location near the Castle, and a lovely area to explore Verona by foot. Lots of choices for cafes and bars.

  The location was charming, very close to the historic centre but quiet. The bed was large and comfortable and the shower decent.
  
  What could be improved: Getting in was a bit tricky as the host only speaks Italian and she sent a series of whatsapp messages with instructions I had to put through google translate, but once I'd done that it was clear enough and I was able to access the apartment without further ado.

  The location was great. We visited Verona for the opera and this apartment was 10 minutes walk from the arena.

  Clean and comfortable apartment in the hearth of Verona. Very convenient for attending concerts at the Arena since it’s only a four minutes walk away! Castelvecchio museum it’s the closest attraction and one of Italy’s best examples of the architectural restoration of an historical building, worth a visit just for the nice view of Verona and of the Adige river you can get from the top of the walls.
  
  What could be improved: The bedroom is placed on a mezzanine, requiring to walk up and down a slightly steep stair. I had no problem using it, but take this into consideration if you have some motor difficulties and inform the property.
