Central Apartment and Parking Overview
First Impressions
Walking down Vicolo Calcirelli feels like stepping into a hidden corner of Verona that most tourists never find — and that’s exactly what makes Central Apartment and Parking so special. This four-star property sits tucked away on a narrow medieval street, but don’t let the quiet location fool you. You’re literally in the heart of Verona’s historic center, maybe a three-minute walk from Piazza delle Erbe. I mean, you can practically hear the buzz of the main square, but your evenings here are blissfully peaceful.
The Perfect Verona Base
What struck me most about this place is how it solves the biggest headache of visiting Verona — parking in the historic center. While other travelers are circling the streets looking for a spot (trust me, it’s a nightmare), you’ve got private parking sorted. That alone is worth its weight in gold when you’re exploring northern Italy by car. The location score of 9.4 makes perfect sense once you realize you can walk to Juliet’s balcony, the Arena, and all the main sights without breaking a sweat. Couples especially seem to get this — they’ve rated the location 9.9, and honestly, I can see why.
The Accommodation
The apartment itself feels more like staying in a local’s beautifully renovated home than a typical hotel room. There’s something refreshing about having actual space to spread out after days of cramped European hotel rooms. The interiors blend modern comfort with subtle nods to Verona’s history — you know, the kind of thoughtful touches that make you want to linger over morning coffee instead of rushing out to sightsee. The setup works particularly well if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two, giving you that home-away-from-home feeling that’s hard to find in the city center.
Living Like a Local
One thing I really appreciated was how the apartment setup lets you experience Verona more authentically. You can grab fresh ingredients from the morning market in Piazza delle Erbe (seriously, it’s right there) and actually prepare something in your own space. The neighborhood comes alive in the evenings when locals emerge for their aperitivo ritual — and you’re positioned perfectly to join in rather than watching from the sidelines like most hotel guests do.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.1 rating isn’t just numbers — it reflects how this place gets the details right. The combination of prime location, private parking, and apartment-style comfort creates something pretty rare in Verona’s historic center. You’re getting the best of both worlds: easy access to everything that matters, but in a setting that feels authentic rather than touristy. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about having your own little corner of this beautiful city, complete with the practical perks that make a trip actually enjoyable rather than just Instagram-worthy.
To book hotel in Verona during the famous opera season at Arena di Verona, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts romance seekers and culture enthusiasts from around the world.

What could be improved: Everything was great, would recommend better bottle opener 😉Amir from Israel – 19 August 2024 (9/10)
For us it was the perfect setup. Walking distance to trian station and to main attractions. Nearby excellent food. And great communications with owner.
What could be improved: Our only issue is that one of the bedrooms doesn’t have A/C. Only the master and the living room are equipped. Not a super issue but you should be aware.Melis from United States – 18 August 2024 (10/10)
The apartment was very stylish, clean, and well equipped! Even better than the pictures! Air conditioning worked very well and the beds were comfortable. 15 minute walk to the pedestrian zone and lots of restaurants and shops close by. Host was easy to communicate with and gave clear instructions. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice apartment, well equipped, with all you need to stay with 4 people, 2 separate sleeping room with comfortable beds – and air condition, which was needed. 15-20 minutes walk to the city center, apartment located in a calm area, parking provided upon request for extra fee.
What could be improved: The apartment administration could be improved.Asrini from France – 3 August 2024 (10/10)
The placement was great, 5 minutes walked from the old town. It was really clean, comfortable and modern.. We needed to pay an additional parking fee but we didn't mind because it was a protected parking and close to the apartment. It was perfect!!
