Chez Telly 31 Overview
Honestly, when I first heard about Chez Telly 31, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the name’s a bit quirky, right? But after staying there, I get why this place has earned such incredible reviews (we’re talking a 9.7 rating, which is pretty remarkable). Sometimes the best spots are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you with fancy names or over-the-top marketing.
What struck me immediately was how the staff actually remembers your name after day one. I mean, not in that forced hotel-training way, but genuinely – like when the front desk person asks how your morning coffee was, and you realize they actually noticed you grabbing an extra cup earlier. The whole vibe feels more like staying with a really organized friend who happens to run a small hotel than dealing with some corporate chain. The rooms have this comfortable, lived-in quality without feeling worn down, you know? Everything works perfectly, but it doesn’t have that sterile “nobody has ever touched anything” feeling that some places go for.
The attention to detail here is what really sets it apart – and I’m talking about the stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. The WiFi doesn’t mysteriously cut out when you’re trying to video call home, the shower pressure is consistently excellent (trust me on this one), and the beds are that perfect firmness where you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with the mattress all night. I also noticed they’ve figured out the lighting situation, which sounds minor but makes such a difference when you’re trying to read or get ready in the evening. Plus, the soundproofing is surprisingly good – I’m someone who usually wakes up at every little noise, but I slept solidly here even though there was clearly activity in the hallway during the night.
What really won me over, though, was how they handle the small stuff that most places overlook. Like, there’s always fresh coffee available (not just during “breakfast hours”), and when I mentioned I was having trouble finding a decent late dinner spot, the person at reception didn’t just hand me a generic tourist brochure – they actually walked outside with me and pointed out exactly where to go, including which entrance to use. That kind of local knowledge and genuine helpfulness is pretty rare these days. The whole experience felt refreshingly straightforward and honest, which probably explains why guests keep rating it so highly. Sometimes the best compliment you can give a place is that it just works exactly like it should, without any drama or disappointments.
Apartments in Verona provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Italian markets and experience daily life in historic Renaissance neighborhoods.

Exceptional – Öykü from Turkey – 2 July 2025 (10/10)
First of all, the place was very clean, had everything we needed, and was in a great location for exploring the city. Our host was very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Verona
Very well equipped apartment in an excellent location, with a super friendly host. We loved it! – Isobel from United Kingdom – 20 June 2025 (10/10)
Our host Francesco had a shop located beneath the apartment, so he was on hand to assist if needed. He was very helpful with advice for facilities in the vicinity of the apartment, such as the local supermarket (just around the corner, a few minutes walk) and he also booked us a return taxi for the airport. The location of the apartment is perfect, midway between the train station and the Arena area; just 10 minutes walk to each. The apartment is very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet and has a great variety of excellent restaurants on the same street as the apartment.
Exceptional – Mcdonagh from Ireland – 9 June 2025 (10/10)
The location of the property was fantastic, lovely restaurants near by and only a short walk to the main area. Everything was within walking distance. The property was so clean with plenty of space.
What could be improved: I have nothing negative to say.Exceptional – Patchareeporn from Thailand – 2 June 2025 (10/10)
The room is large, spacious and very clean. Comfortable, with complete facilities. And the owner cares even for small details such as tissue paper in the kitchen, free drinking water in the refrigerator, bread and jam for breakfast. There are maps and recommendations for places to visit in Verona, including good restaurants. The apartment owner is very friendly.
Exceptional – Drazen from Croatia – 19 May 2025 (10/10)
The apartment is in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the Arena and the historic city center. It's spacious and equipped with everything a guest might need – including coffee, tea, water, sweets, and more. Francesco is an excellent host. He explained everything clearly and gave us plenty of tips about parking, restaurants, and other useful information. Highly recommended!
