Honestly, the location is pretty much perfect if you want to experience Verona like locals do. San Zeno is where you’ll find the stunning Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore (seriously, don’t miss it), and you’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters without being in the thick of the chaos. The couples who stay here absolutely love it — and I get why. There’s something romantic about wandering these quieter streets in the evening, then being able to reach the main sights in about ten minutes on foot. Plus, you’ll actually find decent restaurants around here that aren’t tourist traps.

The Rooms

The beds here are genuinely fantastic — like, surprisingly good for a three-star place. I’m usually pretty picky about mattresses when I travel, but these actually deliver on comfort. The rooms themselves are clean and well-maintained, nothing fancy but everything you need is there. What I appreciated most was how quiet it gets at night. Being on that little piazzetta means you’re not dealing with traffic noise, just the occasional footsteps of someone heading home from dinner.

The Experience

This isn’t the kind of place where you’ll find a concierge in a fancy uniform or room service until midnight. What you will find is straightforward hospitality that works. The staff knows the area well and can point you toward the good stuff — like which osteria serves the best risotto all’Amarone or when the morning market in Piazza delle Erbe is worth visiting. It’s that kind of local knowledge that makes a difference when you’re trying to see Verona beyond the obvious tourist checklist. The apartment-style setup in some units gives you flexibility if you’re staying longer.

  Great location, 5 minute walk to Castlevecchio. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, super clean and an overall wonderful place to stay. I felt so safe staying here as a solo female. I will definitely be back here on my next trip to Verona!

  Combination of everything, nice rate, modern facilities, location near the center (15min walking) and almost instant host support on WhatsApp with all kind of valuable information.
  
  Breakfast was a set of sweet snacks, one yogurt, one apple, toasts with marmalade, 1 or 1.5l bottle of water, few Nespresso capsules and tea bags. We were also given a voucher for a coffee with brioche at the neighbour coffee bar.

  comfortable beds. excellent communications from owner/manger. about 12 minutes walk from town centre. free wifi.
  
  What could be improved: room was a bit cold. and it’s on a busy road and couldn’t sleep in the day due to traffic noise but fine at night. in fairness there was an extra blanket in cupboard but heating seemed to be locked and we weren’t really able to adjust it.

  Excellent apartment with modern fittings, adequate street parking. Within walking distance to the old city centre. Bed was very comfortable, Expresso machine with pods, tea. Etc Shower is bigger area than all other showers in other residences that we experienced. The owner speaks very good English and very helpful. Definitely a place we will stay again at. If we visit Verona again
