I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Cittadella Suite, I wasn’t expecting much from what looks like a pretty understated 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones that surprise you, and this little gem absolutely did that. The entrance has this quiet, almost residential feel that immediately tells you this isn’t going to be your typical tourist trap hotel experience.

What really struck me about this place was how they’ve managed to create something that feels genuinely local without trying too hard. The suites (and they actually are proper suites, not just rooms with a sitting area shoved in the corner) have this comfortable, lived-in quality that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax. I mean, the 8.1 rating makes total sense once you settle in – it’s one of those places where the details just work. The staff clearly knows what they’re doing, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t feel like it’s constantly performing for guests. Check-in was smooth, no drama, and they seemed genuinely interested in making sure I had what I needed without being overbearing about it.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on the place though – it’s got that perfect balance of being tucked away enough to feel peaceful, but still accessible when you want to explore. I actually found myself hanging out in the common areas more than I usually do at hotels, partly because they’re comfortable but mostly because there’s just this nice energy there. The rooms themselves are well thought out (decent storage, good lighting for reading, and honestly better WiFi than some 5-star places I’ve stayed). Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with fancy amenities or over-the-top luxury, but that’s sort of the point. It’s the kind of place where everything works the way it should, the beds are actually comfortable, and you don’t feel like you’re paying for a bunch of stuff you’ll never use. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a really nice apartment than a generic hotel room, and you appreciate places that focus on getting the basics absolutely right rather than flashy extras, you’ll probably love it here as much as I did.

  En general muy bien mi estancia. Me parece muy buen detalle ( que NO me han ofrecido en otros alojamientos) el agua y la máquina de café e infusiones que tuvimos. Muy amplio el apartamento y todo muy limpio y bien organizado y acondicionado.
  
  What could be improved: Por poner un pero, la presión del agua en la ducha no es muy fuerte y la cama pequeña, que uso mi hijo, podría ser mejorable.

  Appartamento silenzioso con 5 letti veri (no divano letto) e molto silenzioso. Posizione centrale, vicinissimo al centro storico ed ai principali parcheggi.

  What could be improved: Purtroppo per un problema non funzionava l'acqua calda.
  Lo staff si è impegnato a inviare prontamente un tecnico ma ormai stavamo lasciando la struttura.
