You know what? Civico23 is one of those places that completely surprised me – and I mean that in the best way possible. When I first walked up to this 3-star spot, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting much. The exterior is pretty understated, almost like it’s trying to blend into the neighborhood rather than shout for attention. But honestly, that turned out to be part of its charm.

The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. It’s not trying to be flashy or pretend it’s something it’s not – it just feels genuine and well-thought-out. The lobby has this warm, lived-in quality that reminded me more of staying at a friend’s stylish apartment than a typical hotel. I noticed little details everywhere: the way they’ve arranged the lighting (soft but not dim), the mix of modern touches with more classic elements, even the way the staff greets you – it all feels intentional without being stuffy. The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you’re there for a day or two.

What really won me over, though, was how the place operates day to day. Check-in was smooth – no unnecessary upselling or complicated explanations, just friendly efficiency. The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully compact; they’ve clearly put effort into making the space work without feeling cramped. The bed was actually comfortable (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case), and I slept well despite being someone who usually struggles in new places. The bathroom setup was practical too – good water pressure, decent toiletries, nothing fancy but everything you need. I mean, for a 3-star property, they’re definitely punching above their weight in terms of quality and attention to detail. The whole experience felt more personal than corporate, if that makes sense – like staying somewhere the owners actually care about rather than just another property in someone’s portfolio. If you’re looking for something authentic without breaking the bank, this place gets it right.

  Great value for price, exactly what we were looking for, with private parking. Large area, dishwasher, oven, plenty of supermarket and option to buy food nearby. Bus to reach downtown in 10 mins

  There is bike station a few minutes walk from apartment.

  The apartment is very beautiful and clean, it has a spacious living room with a well defined dining space and superb equipped kitchen, a very nice balcony, a generous bedroom and a huge bathroom with, tub, shower, nice big sink and a very handy washer and dryer.
