Trust me, after a day of walking around Verona’s cobblestone streets, that last one becomes pretty crucial.

But here’s what really sets this place apart – the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work. They’re not just going through the motions; they’ll actually point you toward the neighborhood spots that locals hit up, not just the obvious tourist traps. I got some of my best meal recommendations from the front desk, including this tiny osteria tucked away on a side street that I never would’ve found otherwise. The location itself is smart too – you’re close enough to the main attractions that you’re not spending half your day on buses, but far enough from the crowds that you can actually get some decent sleep at night. And parking, if you’re driving (which honestly, in Verona, I wouldn’t recommend unless you have to), isn’t the nightmare it could be. The whole experience just feels… well, comfortable, which I guess makes perfect sense given the name. It’s the kind of place where you stop thinking about the hotel stuff and start focusing on why you came to this beautiful city in the first place.

  Close to the tourist attractions in a quiet neighborhood. The owner really cares and responded immediately in every problem or question that we had. Crib and child seat were provided. Also toys and books were added for our baby. So it's a perfect apartment for families, Value for money for what it provides.
  
  What could be improved: It was good enough for us. Maybe the heating could be slightly better. But overall we didn't have a problem and we would like to stay again in this apartment.

  This apartment was far more homely than the pictures implied. It was a very comfortable and convenient stay.
  
  What could be improved: It could have used a toaster, though I could have inquired with the friendly host of course. We used the oven to heat bread instead. The shower cubicle is very small and that may present a problem for large people.

  Great apartment with everything you need for you, including fully functional kitchen, washing machine, fridge etc etc. Freshly renovated, cozy and pretty spacious.
  Comfortable bed, warm blankets (very important for winter or late autumn!) and VERY welcoming host!
  The location is perfect too – not far from train station and within 5-7 minutes of walking from historical centre

  An excellent, clean and comfortable apartment that feels like home the second you step inside. The location is great, right between the train station and the old city of Verona center. The host, Serena, is by fat the kindest and most helpful host we met. Always there to answer any request and to facilitate the stay.

  Serena is an excellent host who does all she can to make your trip as comfortable as possible! The appartement is located on an easy to access place with free parking nearby. It's a 10 minute walk to the city center. Also, it's a 30 minute drive to the Gardalake.
