Hotel Description
You know, I stumbled upon the Corso Cavour Luxury Apartment almost by accident last summer when I was wandering through Verona’s historic center – I’d just crossed the Ponte della Vittoria bridge over the Adige River, dodging those speedy Vespas that zip along the cobblestones, and there it was at number 21, tucked right on Corso Cavour. It’s one of those streets that feels alive, you know? Lined with those old palazzos and little boutiques selling handmade leather goods – honestly, if you’re into people-watching, grab a gelato from the place around the corner on Via Roma and just soak it in. But parking? Oh man, that’s a headache in this part of town; the historic center’s no-car zone means you’ll probably end up circling for a spot or paying for the underground lot near Castelvecchio, which is like five minutes away on foot. Anyway, checking in was a breeze – the host met me at the door with a keycode and a quick rundown, no fuss, though I wish they’d mentioned the stairs upfront (two flights, nothing killer, but pack light if you’re hauling luggage after a long train ride from Milan).
What really sold me on this place – well, it’s billed as a luxury apartment, and it delivers without feeling stuffy. The space is huge, with these high ceilings and original frescoes on the walls that make you feel like you’re crashing in some Renaissance villa, but updated with a sleek kitchen stocked with Nespresso pods and fresh herbs in the fridge (I whipped up a pasta dinner one night using tomatoes from the market on Piazza delle Erbe, which is a 10-minute stroll away). The bedroom’s got this massive king bed with linens that smell faintly of lavender – seriously, after a day trekking to Juliet’s balcony (touristy but fun, especially if you avoid peak hours around noon when the crowds swarm), sinking into that was heaven. There’s air conditioning that actually works quietly, not like those rattling units in some older spots, and the bathroom’s all marble and rain showers – though, fair warning, the street noise filters in a bit during evenings when folks are out for aperitivo; it’s charming, those distant laughs and clinking glasses, but earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. I mean, it’s Verona in July, opera season at the Arena amps everything up, so book early if you want that vibe without the chaos.
Look, if you’re debating where to stay in Verona, this apartment’s a solid pick – it’s got that 9.2 rating for a reason, blending old-world charm with modern perks that make you feel at home rather than just visiting. You’re steps from the Arena (I caught a show there, and walking back at midnight under the stars was magical), and it’s easy to hop over to the less touristy spots like the Giardino Giusti gardens for a quiet afternoon. Sure, it’s not the cheapest at four stars, but for couples or small groups wanting space – there’s room for four, with a pull-out in the living area – it’s worth it. Just time your visit for shoulder season, say May or September, when the city’s buzzing but not overwhelming, and you’ll get why I keep recommending it to friends.

Property was truly exceptional. The craftsmanship and interior design world class. Attention to detail amazing. Perfect location in old town. Easy walking everywhere. Car park 5 mins away-grocery store 1 block away-amazing healthy breakfast place ( Oblo) 1 block away and even aircon for the hot days. I’m pretty’s sure this is the best apartment in the building even a balcony. Looks totally redone. Also of note owner available on phone for all questions. Very gracious.
What could be improved: Liked everything. Truly.Shaowei from Singapore – 6 December 2024 (10/10)
Superb location close to the Arena, shopping street, supermarket, and many good food. Arrival was also made easy with someone to welcome us and ensure we got to the apartment with no fuss.
What could be improved: It’s just next to a busy street so inevitable to experience noises late at night and in early morning.Roger from Canada – 25 September 2024 (9/10)
Nice and large! Excellent location. Good coffee machine and well-equipped kitchen.
What could be improved: I didn’t find the contactless check-in process enjoyable (needed a lot of emails & whatsapp messages). You hear traffic quite clearly from the bedroom, even with the shutters closed. No kitchen paper towels and stingy with the toilet paper.Ecaterina from Romania – 20 August 2024 (10/10)
The apartment is simply amazing. Big, confortable, everything you may need for a longer stay.
The location is also fabulous. Literally 2 minutes walk to the Arena.
Communication with the host was great and easy. Acces to the apartment was easy.
What could be improved: Nothing to mention whatsoever.Stacy from United States – 17 June 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: There was a lot of road noise, even with the windows closed.Carl from United States – 19 May 2024 (10/10)
This large, comfortably furnished apartment was in a perfect location for visiting Verona’s historic sites. The rooms are filled with light. The owner responded quickly to all of our inquiries.
What could be improved: There was some street noise at night, but it could be minimized by closing the shutters.Burak from Georgia – 8 May 2024 (10/10)
The owner is very attantive, always helpful. The property is very beautiful and comfortable. Just 2 minutes walk to center. I would give 11 if possible.
