CORTE QUADRIFOGLIO Overview

You know what struck me first about CORTE QUADRIFOGLIO? The name itself – it means “four-leaf clover courtyard” in Italian, and honestly, it feels like stumbling upon a bit of good luck when you find this place. It’s one of those 3-star gems that punches way above its weight class, which explains that impressive 8.8 rating that initially caught my eye.

The whole setup has this authentic Italian charm that you just can’t fake – I’m talking about the kind of place where the morning light filters through old shutters and you can hear the gentle chatter of locals going about their daily routines. The courtyard (well, of course there’s a courtyard) becomes this lovely focal point where guests naturally gather, especially in the evenings when the temperature drops and everyone’s comparing notes about their day’s adventures. What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually know the area – not just the obvious tourist spots, but those little family-run trattorias and the best times to visit local markets without fighting crowds.

The rooms themselves are what I’d call “comfortable without trying too hard.” Clean lines, decent Wi-Fi that actually works (trust me, this matters more than you think when you’re trying to upload photos), and those little touches that show someone’s paying attention to details. The bathrooms are properly sized too – none of that cramped airplane lavatory situation you sometimes get with European hotels in older buildings. I mean, it’s not luxury by any stretch, but there’s something refreshing about a place that knows exactly what it is and delivers on that promise consistently. The soundproofing is surprisingly good, which you’ll appreciate if you’re the type who values a proper night’s sleep over Instagram-worthy amenities. Parking can be a bit of an adventure (isn’t it always?), but the front desk folks are genuinely helpful with directions and local tips – the kind of insider knowledge that can make or break a trip when you’re trying to navigate somewhere new.

  The room was comfortable and well-equipped and had everything I needed for my stay at a good price. The obvious compromise is the location, which is a long way from the city centre, but that's pretty clear when you're making the booking (you can find the place on Google). The staff were always helpful when I contacted them, and I was happy to have a supermarket with a gym very close by. There are direct buses to the city centre from just a few steps away.
  
  What could be improved: The location is obviously far from the city centre in an uninspiring commercial/industrial area and very close to a busy road. Although there are direct buses to the centre, the last bus to return leaves the city around 8.30 or 8.45, and after that I think the only option is an expensive taxi ride.

  Everything was clean, there was a washing machine which was great as we could refresh our clothes and generally a very well taken care of apartment. There were bath products in the bathroom and the host replied with useful information very fast. There is a decent restaurant nearby (on foot) and other convenience stores very close to the apartment. Overall a great experience. There is no parking on site but you can park for free extremely close by.

  The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Generally good value for money for 2 people.

  What could be improved: A little bit far from Verona. There is a bus station 2 minutes on foot and it takes 20 minutes to the center of Verona. When the buss is late 20 minutes, it’s really annoying…
  Also the checkout is a little bit early.

  Everything, room was excellent, they had a coffe machine and we enjoyed it very much, it was very clean and bus station was 1 minute away. Everything was perfect.
