Corte Realdi Suites Piazza Erbe Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about Corte Realdi Suites Piazza Erbe? I was expecting just another decent four-star place, but honestly, this spot has something special going on. The location alone – I mean, you’re literally steps from Piazza delle Erbe, which is basically the beating heart of Verona. When I say steps, I’m talking about maybe a thirty-second walk to where all the market stalls set up in the morning and the aperitivo crowds gather at sunset.
The suites themselves actually feel like apartments more than hotel rooms, which was perfect since I was there for four nights. There’s this authentic Italian residential vibe – you’re not staying in some sterile hotel corridor but rather in what feels like a converted historic building (because, well, it probably is). The staff really knows their stuff too, and I appreciated that they didn’t just hand me a generic city map. Instead, they pointed me toward this little osteria around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise, plus gave me the real scoop on timing my visit to Juliet’s balcony – early morning or late evening if you want photos without the tour groups.
What really sold me on the place was how it strikes this perfect balance between being right in the thick of things but somehow still quiet at night. I was worried about noise since you’re so close to the main piazza, but the rooms are surprisingly well-insulated. The only sounds I heard were church bells in the morning, which honestly just added to the whole Verona experience. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you stay there – it’s those little touches that add up. Like, they actually have a proper espresso machine in the suites, not some sad pod contraption, and the breakfast setup (when I opted for it) featured local pastries from a bakery nearby rather than generic hotel fare. If you’re planning to explore the Veneto region, this is one of those places where you’ll actually want to come back to your room and relax rather than just crash for the night. Plus, you can walk to pretty much everything – the Arena, Castelvecchio, even the train station if you’re day-tripping to Venice or Lake Garda.

Lovely little facility. Great feel in the heart of Verona. Heavy luggage is a challenge as there are no lifts. Comfortable stay. Would have stayed another night, but they were full.

What could be improved: A little noisy outside in the eveningPovolny from United States – 8 March 2025 (8/10)
Beautiful apartment. Lovely balcony with a view of the Piazza delle Erbe.
What could be improved: We were there on a Friday and Saturday night right above the bar/restaurant below. We were warned of the noise from the Piazza upon arrival which we were fine with. Noise of people would have been fine, but the noise was more like the thump of the bass coming from a night club that went on until at least 3:00 am on Friday and for some reason only 2:00 am on Saturday. I sincerely apologize if the noise was listed in the reviews before I booked this and I missed it. If you are a younger person that is going to be at this clubs until late on Friday and Saturday, this place is perfect. Not sure how it is on a weekday and maybe it was just our room location. Loved everything but the late night noise.Sarah from Saudi Arabia – 19 February 2025 (10/10)
The building is from 14th century and the rooms have orignal frescos. The room was stunning, the staff was amazing, the location was subperb. This is easily one of the best places I have stayed in and I would recommend it again! THE VIEW FROM THE BALCONY WAS INCREDIBLE. Absolutely phenomenal place. The exterior was so pretty as well. You can see it from the square. Lovely guy named Cris helped us with everything we could need. There was no elevator but he kindly helped us carry our luggage at check-in and check-out. And they do luggage store as well. They let us check-in early as well. Incredible experience!

Location couldn’t be better! Between piazza Erbe and piazza del Signori with Dante statue. 👌 Studio was comfortable, nicely decorated with big bathroom. Breakfast in a cafe on Piazza Erbe for €16 was good, sitting out on the terrace when the sun shine is great 👍
What could be improved: only sleeping pillows could be softer but that’s according preferences to everyone
