It’s not smack in the middle of the action – you’ll need a car or be okay with buses down to Piazza delle Erbe – but that’s the charm, right? A peaceful retreat after a day of crowds.   Amazing surprise. We booked our stay last minute and found Corte san Mattia. We were glad we did because we fell in love with their beautiful space, the kindness of the staff and the beautiful outdoor space and pool. Breakfast was amazing too.
