There’s this great little trattoria maybe two blocks away where locals actually eat (not tourists), and I stumbled across it purely by accident when I was too tired to venture into the city center. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a corporate rental – there are real books on the shelves, decent kitchen equipment that works properly, and the kind of comfortable couch you can actually sink into after a long day. The 8.2 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not fancy (it’s a solid 3-star kind of place), everything just… works. The shower has proper water pressure, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and surprisingly, it’s pretty quiet considering you’re not far from a major exhibition center.

What I really appreciated was how straightforward everything was. The host clearly knows what business travelers need – they left detailed instructions for everything, including which bus to take into the historic center (about 20 minutes, and way easier than dealing with parking near the Arena). I actually ended up staying an extra night just because I wanted to explore Verona properly without rushing, and honestly, having a real apartment to come back to instead of a tiny hotel room made all the difference. It’s not going to wow you with marble bathrooms or a rooftop pool, but if you want a comfortable base that doesn’t feel like every other generic accommodation, this place delivers. Plus, there’s something refreshing about a place that just focuses on being genuinely cozy rather than trying to be something it’s not.

  What could be improved: When we arrived, we found there was no hot water. Although we reached out to the hotel, we were told the issue wouldn't be fixed until the very end of our stay, meaning we'd be without hot water for the entire trip!!
  When we mentioned leaving a negative review, they offered a refound of one night and one free night. However, we never received de refund…. After our stay, I contacted the hotel to ask about the refund, but received no solution. Additionally, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Overall, this experience was frustrating and unprofessional, and I would not recommend staying here.

  Appartamento completamente attrezzato, dotato anche di lavatrice , e ben arredato, in complesso condominiale molto tranquillo. Garage privato compreso nel prezzo, supermercato sotto casa. A due passi dalla fiera di Verona. Ideale per 2 persone. Consigliato!
