The building itself has that understated Italian elegance that doesn’t scream “tourist accommodation,” which honestly made me feel more like I was staying at a friend’s place than checking into another hotel.

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re literally steps away from everything that matters in Verona’s historic center. I could walk to Juliet’s balcony in about three minutes (though let’s be real, it’s touristy but you have to do it), and the Arena di Verona is practically around the corner. What really impressed me was how quiet Via Stella stays despite being so central. You get all the benefits of being in the action without the constant noise that usually comes with prime locations. Couples seem to absolutely adore this spot — apparently they rate it a perfect 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment itself strikes this perfect balance between modern comfort and Italian charm. You’ve got everything you need to feel settled, including a proper kitchen setup that actually works (I made coffee every morning and it felt wonderfully normal). The space is thoughtfully designed — not huge, but cleverly laid out so it never feels cramped. The room has this lovely natural light that streams in during the day, and honestly, waking up here just feels different than your typical hotel experience.

Living Like a Local

What struck me most was how this place lets you experience Verona like you actually live there. There’s a little market nearby where I’d grab fresh bread and fruit, and the neighborhood has this authentic rhythm that you miss when you’re stuck in the tourist bubble. The staff clearly knows the area well — they pointed me toward this tiny osteria that I never would have found on my own, and it ended up being one of my best meals in Italy. You know what’s nice? Parking isn’t the nightmare it usually is in Italian city centers, which takes a huge stress off your shoulders if you’re driving.

  The apartment was nice and very clean, spacious and with added facilities like a washing machine, full size fridge, coffee making etc (all as listed, but nice to see). Great communication via WhatsApp with the owner (sadly we did not meet Lucia, she was on holiday). Great location.

  What could be improved: The toilet and shower are 'very' close together and the shower needs a re-grout.
  Best to be an early riser, because the delivery and cleaning trucks will wake you.

  Excellent location! Able to walk within a few minutes to a lot of the main attractions (the arena, Piazza Erbe, etc.). Located on a street with lots of restaurants and a small supermarket, but still quiet. We could even see the arena from the balcony! Apartment is spacious, well equipped, and clean. Matched the description. Bed was super comfortable (great pillows and mattress). Air conditioning and washing machine worked well. Lucia and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. They were available via whatsapp for whatever we needed and even offered to make us dinner reservations. The WiFi worked great. My husband and I were both able to work remotely without interruptions. Full size refrigerator was nice to have and kitchen is well-stocked for travelers. Elevator was amazing so we didn’t have to carry our heavy luggage upstairs. Overall, we had a great 3 night stay and would definitely book this place again! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Verona.
  
  What could be improved: The only minor inconvenience was the doorway to the bedroom is somewhat low (my husband hit his head going through, but he’s over 6ft tall). The rest of the apartment has very high vaulted ceilings.

  Super central location . Our host was so accommodating . She allowed early check in ( for a fee – which I was delighted to pay ), as she had availability . My daughter arrived much earlier than us and she facilitated her check in which was very kind . Everything we needed was there . And the cushions for opera seats was a brilliant touch . We had great use of the balcony – breakfast , evening drinks . Restaurant downstairs ( at entrance ) is a great little place . Super food and they like their wines . Our hostess gave us great and many recommendations too . It was a wonderful stay that included 2 nights at the opera also – and proximity to arena was great .

  Wonderful location, right in the middle of the old town, easy walks to everywhere in Verona's lovely Citta Antica. Lucia was there when we got there (we didn't realize it at first; her friend the waiter at the nice restaurant below told us; and we had lunch there). Lucia was very nice, friendly, helpful; and she spoke good English. Easy communication through WhatsApp. The room is roomy and comfy, nicely decorated. The little balcony looked out on the busy Via Stella tourist walking street below, filled with restaurants and shops (but not quite as busy as Piazza delle Erbe, a short walk away). In keeping with the street name, the room is named after Deneb, the 19th brightest star in the night sky.
  
  What could be improved: No breakfast or other food (we didn't expect any), but there was coffee. Tiny elevator. Actually, no complaints!

  This accommodation was just perfect. The apartment is nicely appointed, comfortable and included every amenity. They even provided seat cushions to attend the opera. (A really special experience.) The terrace was a lovely place for a glass of wine and some snacks. We loved the location, very close to everything yet quiet. The restaurant and wine bar downstairs is a must as is the bakery across the street. Lucia, our hostess was wonderful and so helpful. Highly recommend!

  I adored this apartment. It is cosy, central and very clean. The decor is perfect. The bed is so very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Lovely little balcony overlooking the street. There's 2 supermarkets within 2 minutes walk which is a bonus. All major attractions within walking distance. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful and easy to contact with any queries and she is very quick to respond. A delight to deal with. Highly recommend this accommodation.
