Di punto in bianco home Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Di punto in bianco home on Via Sant’Alessio, you immediately get the sense that this isn’t your typical hotel. It’s tucked into one of Verona’s most coveted neighborhoods, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. This four-star property sits in what locals know is the sweet spot — close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually breathe.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this area — you’re genuinely in a residential part of Verona that feels authentic. The couples who stay here consistently rave about it, and I get why they’re rating the location a 9.9 for romantic getaways. You can walk to the historic center without feeling like you’re staying in a theme park, you know? Plus, there’s something refreshing about having parking that’s actually free — and I mean truly free, not “complimentary with a 20-euro resort fee” free. In Italian cities, that’s practically unheard of.
What Sets It Apart
The “home” in the name isn’t just marketing speak — this place actually feels like staying in someone’s well-appointed house rather than a sterile hotel room. The setup is more intimate than what you’d expect from a four-star property, which works in its favor. I mean, when you’re exploring Verona all day, you want somewhere that feels like a retreat, not another tourist processing center. The staff seems to understand this balance really well.
Getting Around Verona
From here, you’re perfectly positioned to explore without the headache of navigating Verona’s old town traffic or hunting for parking spots that cost more than your dinner. The walk into the centro storico is pleasant — actually one of my favorite parts of staying here. You pass through neighborhoods where real Veronese people live, grab coffee at bars that aren’t tourist traps, and gradually make your way toward the Adige River and all the main sights. It’s like getting a mini walking tour of authentic Verona every time you head out.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Verona can be tricky — stay too close to the arena and you’re dealing with crowds and noise, stay too far out and you spend half your vacation commuting. Di punto in bianco home hits that sweet spot where you feel connected to the real city while still being able to easily reach Juliet’s balcony or catch an opera performance. The fact that couples consistently rate this location so highly tells you something important — it’s romantic without being contrived, convenient without being chaotic. And honestly, in a city where parking can make or break your Italian road trip, having a guaranteed spot waiting for you is worth its weight in Amarone wine.
Verona hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in this UNESCO World Heritage city, known for its romantic atmosphere, Roman architecture, and world-class opera performances.

The apartment was great and most importantly location was excellent. The owner always got back to me and was a tremendous help to us on the last day even coming down to meet us as we had difficulty getting a wheelchair taxi.
What could be improved: Nothing at all but would have loved a bath there.Yolina from Bulgaria – 30 August 2024 (9/10)
The apartment is lovely, quiet and has a great location near to the river and the city centre. The access was easy. The place is very clean, the double bed, the sofa and the pillows are very comfortable, the linens were perfectly ironed. The bathroom is big and even has a window. The host was so kind and quickly responded all our questions and requests. We are thankful for his great hospitality!
I strongly recommend this place and would love to stay there again on my next visit to Verona!

Everything was fine. Perfect location, all visiting places in a walking distance. Please note, the apartment has a pass that allows for free to park your car in front of the apartment. Do not rush to pay for parking, the pass is left in the flat. 😉
