I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Diamond Suite Verona, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard 4-star place from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in understated packages. The lobby hit me with this warm, almost residential feeling that immediately made me forget I was in a hotel. There’s something about the way they’ve arranged the seating areas that feels more like a well-appointed friend’s living room than your typical hotel reception space.

What really got my attention though was how quiet everything was, even during what I’d consider peak tourist season in Verona. I mean, we’re talking about a city that gets absolutely flooded with visitors year-round – Romeo and Juliet bring in the crowds, you know – but somehow this place manages to feel like a retreat from all that chaos. The suites themselves are genuinely spacious (and I say that as someone who’s been disappointed by “suites” that turned out to be glorified hotel rooms with a couch thrown in). The bathrooms actually have proper counter space – something you don’t realize you miss until you’re trying to spread out your toiletries on a surface the size of a dinner plate.

The staff here really knows their stuff about the local area, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to navigate beyond the obvious tourist traps. They pointed me toward this little osteria about ten minutes’ walk away that I never would have found on my own, and it ended up being one of those perfect neighborhood spots where locals actually eat. The 9.0 rating starts to make sense when you experience these kinds of thoughtful touches – it’s not just about thread count and marble bathrooms (though those are pretty nice too). I found myself actually looking forward to coming back after long days of wandering around the historic center, which says something because I’m usually the type who just crashes wherever and doesn’t think much about the accommodation itself. The whole experience felt more curated than corporate, if that makes sense – like someone actually cared about creating a space where you’d want to spend time, not just sleep.

  Jacuzzi is the highlight, room is also very spacious, chose it due to close to Verona fair which suits us, but not close to city centre
  
  What could be improved: lack of amenities, only plastic glasses, no soap, no tissue, no kettle,no aircon control so that the host needs to turn on/off remotely which felt a bit weird.

  The Suite is incredibly beautiful. It is very elegant and modern. The Jacuzzi is perfectly located in the suite.
  The bed was like a cloud and perfectly comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful with two sinks, one shower and one bidet.
  We appreciated the free, awesome coffee and all of the clear guides and rules from the host. He communicated extensively with us the instructions to get inside, what he expected, and he was very reachable. I also accidentally broke a glass and he was very nice about it!
  
  What could be improved: The location is not very easy I find and it was hard for us to understand where the garage was for our car.
  The host was putting Italian through google translate and caused some language barriers regarding some of his instructions, which is okay though.
  
  I wish there was also an option to turn normal lights on haha

  The whole thing, hot tub, modern fittings, mini bar, lights. The host was very accommodating and all the instructions for entry etc were very helpful.

  What could be improved: The property doesnt feel nice, its like an converted apartment with a jacuzzi in the middle, LED colourful lights everywhere, The ventilation was poor with a small single aircon cooling the entire place. Checking in was a very complicated process. unlock 1 door, unlock a key press, then enter another building and then a second door. Location was far out from the city.
