I mean, when you’re staying in Verona, you sort of expect every place to claim some amazing view, but this one genuinely has those rooftop moments that make you stop scrolling through your phone and just… look around.

The whole vibe here feels like someone took a traditional Italian building and gave it this modern twist without losing its soul. The rooms have this interesting mix where you’ll find contemporary furnishings alongside these gorgeous original architectural details that remind you you’re definitely not in some cookie-cutter chain hotel. I particularly loved how the windows frame the city – during golden hour, the light hits the terracotta rooftops in a way that makes you understand why people write poetry about Italian cities. The bathroom situation is solid too, which matters more than people admit when you’re dealing with jet lag and long sightseeing days.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually know Verona, not just the tourist handbook version. They pointed me toward this little osteria that I never would have found otherwise, tucked away where only locals seem to go. The 8.5 rating makes total sense when you experience the service – it’s attentive without being hovering, if you know what I mean. There’s something refreshing about places where people genuinely seem to enjoy their work. The check-in process was smooth, though I’d recommend arriving before evening if possible since the reception area gets pretty busy around aperitivo time (which, let’s be honest, is a good sign about the neighborhood). One small thing – the elevator is on the smaller side, so if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, just be prepared for some strategic maneuvering. But really, that’s typical for these beautifully converted buildings, and it’s part of the charm rather than a real problem. The location puts you close enough to the main sights that you can walk everywhere important, but far enough from the absolute center that you’re not dealing with constant tour group traffic right outside your window.

  Great Location, close to station and city, wonderful view, very spacious, efficient aircon, good storage space in bedrooms, good quality furniture,

  What could be improved: The apartment was large, but the use of space was poor.
  It is misleading to say there are two bathrooms. There is one very small bathroom, with no space to store anything and a very small shower with faulty doors. The second ‘bathroom’ had only a toilet, washbasin and laundry and no storage or shelves. The bathrooms were totally inadequate for the number of guests (5).
  The doors to the balcony were difficult to use and we experienced faults on both doors.
  There were no racks to dry clothes and no ironing board.
