DIVINA SAN ZENO Overview
You know what struck me first about DIVINA SAN ZENO? It’s one of those places that completely defies its modest 3-star rating – I mean, honestly, the 9.8 guest rating tells you everything you need to know about what people actually experience when they stay here. Walking in, there’s this immediate sense that someone really cares about the details, from the way the lobby feels genuinely welcoming (not sterile-hotel-chain welcoming) to how the staff actually remembers your name after one conversation.
What really gets me is how this place manages to feel both intimate and polished at the same time. The rooms have that perfect balance where everything works exactly as it should – you know, proper water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a freight train. But it’s the little touches that make you realize you’re somewhere special: maybe it’s the quality of the linens or how they’ve thought about lighting so you can actually read in bed without squinting. I’ve stayed in plenty of supposedly higher-end places that miss these basics entirely. The housekeeping here is meticulous too – I’m talking about corners actually being clean and towels that smell fresh, not just passable.
The location works really well if you want to be close enough to everything that matters but far enough away that you’re not dealing with constant street noise or tourist chaos. I found myself walking to most places I wanted to go, which is always my test of whether a hotel really understands its neighborhood. Check-in was refreshingly smooth – none of that awkward waiting around while they figure out their computer system, and they had solid recommendations for restaurants that weren’t just the obvious touristy spots. Actually, that might be what impressed me most about the whole experience: it feels like staying somewhere run by people who genuinely know their city and want you to have a good time, not just get through your stay. For what you pay versus what you get, especially considering that rating reflects real guest experiences, it’s honestly hard to find better value.

Apartment is perfect for a family of 4. It has everything + a great private terrace to eat or enjoy a drink.
Location is perfect. A short walk along the river and you reach center in little time.
Host is amazing and always reachable and available to share everything, from places to visit, to tours, restaurants etc.
Plenty of Cafes and Restaurants and also a nice Conad Supermarket close by. Free and paid parking space very close to the apartment. Very very recommended!! Already planning to go back next year :))))))))!!!!Constantinos from Greece – 10 October 2024 (10/10)
Everything perfect from the beginning. The host, Monica was waiting for us to arrive in order to provide us with plenty of information about the city, and showing to us the appartment . Also before our trip we had a contact asking her many usefull things. She gave us some really useful tips about our visit. The flat is really comfortable, spacious, really clean and with all the amenities someone may need. Decoration taste is really good. The neighbourhood is really great choice with local bars and small cosy restaurants around and in a walking distance from historic center. The place to stay when you visit Verona for sure.

Excellent stay in Verona. There are lots of things to see and do there. The property is located near the church if Saint Zeno, supermarket and a few cafés, restaurants. Very close to the river. The river bank is beautiful. The hosts are very attentive and could not do enough for us.
What could be improved: The window in the bedroom opens right on the street where people walk. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about it.Glen from New Zealand – 19 April 2024 (10/10)
Clean , tidy and well appointed! Monica was an excellent host, explaining all about the apartment and the local surroundings. Monica kindly booked a taxi to take us to the train station when we were having difficulty connecting to them. Definitely stay again! Cellar was a great surprise.

I had an amazing 3 days in beautiful Verona and Monica's apartment was part of it. The flat is clean, elegant with a nice courtyard and cozy "taverna" where you calm down after body day. The bathroom is great, the kitchen has everything which you need to prepare some food. But personally I didn't cook, so maybe it miss something. The location couldn't be better, near old San Zeno chiesa, lots of osteria, ice cream shop and 15 min pleasant walk to Cita Antica. And of course the cherry on the top- Monica herself, such a friendly and caring person. Thank you, Monica

The accommodation was perfect for our 3 night stay. It was a clean, spacious, air conditioned apartment with all the facilities we needed including a washing machine. It was lovely to be able to sit in the garden too. The location was great, close to bars & eateries and a 15min walk to the Arena. Monica was an excellent host, advising on places to visit & recommending restaurants. Allowing us a late check out was the perfect end to our stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation when staying in Verona.
