I mean, a 9.3 rating doesn’t just happen by accident, and after spending time here, I totally get why guests keep raving about it.

The thing is, most hotels in this category sort of blend together after a while, but Domus Anastasia has this genuine warmth that’s hard to fake. The staff actually remembers your name (not just because they’re reading it off a screen), and they’ve got these little touches throughout the property that show someone really thought about what travelers actually need. Like, there are proper reading lights that don’t wake up your partner, and the WiFi actually works in every corner – I’m talking full bars even in the bathroom, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but here we are. The rooms have this lived-in elegance, if that makes sense. Everything’s clearly high-quality, but it doesn’t feel like you can’t touch anything or put your feet up.

What really sold me though was how they handle the small stuff that can make or break a stay. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no complicated explanations about amenities you’ll never use. The soundproofing is surprisingly good too; I’m usually the person lying awake listening to every footstep in the hallway, but I actually slept through the night here. And breakfast (when I managed to drag myself down early enough) felt thoughtfully curated rather than just thrown together. They’ve clearly figured out that sweet spot between being attentive without being hovering, professional without being stuffy. It’s the kind of place where you’d feel comfortable asking for restaurant recommendations and actually trust their suggestions, you know?

  The location was perfect and bathroom was big and we stayed in comfort. We needed help to book taxi and our host was super helpful and booked it for us.
  
  What could be improved: We had some noise coming next door but it did not bother us.

  Very comfortable and clean place, refurbished. We had a kitchen to make some breakfast it was really useful! Everything was really perfect. Location is amazing! We also had great communication with the host.

  Overall good experience, with good communication, clean apartment & just perfect location.
  Apartment had everything for short stay & cooking.
  Better for 2-3 persons, but 4 of us were ok.
  
  What could be improved: It was so hot in the apartment, unfortunately, A/C in the living room was not working properly, and the fan in the bedroom helped a little. You should take into account this August was extremely hot with 35 C during daytime, and the owner was trying to fix it.

  I love the location and the spaciousness of the apartment. It has everything you need. I like the view from the apartment and the host was very welcoming.

  My stay at this accommodation was excellent! The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants nearby and parking options nearby. The owner of the accommodation was extremely friendly and helpful. She responded promptly to any inquiries and made sure I had everything I needed. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the amenities provided left nothing to be desired.
