What really impressed me was how the place manages to feel spacious – hence the “ampia” (spacious) in the name, I suppose. The rooms have this airy quality that you don’t always find in Italian city centers, where buildings can feel a bit cramped. Plus, being in a residential building means it’s actually quiet at night, which was a pleasant surprise. I mean, you’re in the heart of one of Italy’s most romantic cities, but you can still get a decent night’s sleep. During opera season, you might catch some distant music drifting from the Arena in the evenings – honestly, it’s pretty enchanting rather than disruptive. The whole setup works really well if you want to experience Verona like you’re living there temporarily rather than just passing through. You’ll find yourself popping back during the day to drop off shopping bags or just take a break, and the location makes everything walkable – Juliet’s balcony, Piazza delle Erbe, the Adige River views. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

  It is really in the center of Verona. We were there on a very rainy day and could reach everything quickly walking. The parking service by Mario worked perfect. And Valeria welcomed us. Thank you.

  Great location in walking distance to the Arena and other important sites. Easy communication with management to get keys and pay city tax. Apartment had large separate bedroom, living area, dining and kitchen. Bathroom was good with nice sized shower. Everything one needs to dine at home or walk to Aldi grocery store 10 minutes away. A further 10 minutes we parked at Parcheggio Tribunale for three nights for about 13.50 euros per night (less expensive than others). It was a parking lot, but we felt it was secure and therefore no problems when we left. We registered out car plate with the management so we could drive in to the apartment to handle luggage as we did on the departure day due to the rain.
