First Impressions

Walking up to Dreaming Verona on Via Dietro Filippini, you immediately get that “this is special” feeling. The building sits right in the heart of Città Antica — I mean, you’re literally inside Verona‘s historic center, surrounded by those gorgeous medieval streets that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a Renaissance painting. It’s one of those places where the location alone makes you pause and think, okay, this was the right choice.

The Heart of Historic Verona

Honestly, the location is pretty incredible. You’re tucked away on this quiet street, but everything you came to Verona to see is basically at your doorstep. Juliet’s balcony? Five-minute walk. The Arena di Verona where they do those amazing opera performances? Maybe seven minutes if you’re strolling slowly. What I really love is that you get to stay inside the ancient city walls — there’s something magical about waking up where Romans once walked, you know?

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort that four-star places do well when they actually care. The ceilings had these beautiful exposed beams, and the windows looked out onto the narrow cobblestone street below. You’ll hear the gentle sounds of people walking by — but it’s not noisy, more like a pleasant reminder that you’re in a living, breathing part of the city. The bathroom was updated with all the essentials, and honestly, after long days of exploring, that comfortable bed was exactly what I needed.

What Makes It Special

The staff here really knows their stuff about Verona — they’re locals who can point you toward that perfect little restaurant tucked away in an alley, or tell you the best time to visit the Castelvecchio when it’s less crowded. I actually ended up having some of my best meals based on their recommendations. There’s also something to be said for staying somewhere that couples clearly love — you can feel that romantic energy in the air, probably because you’re literally in the city of Romeo and Juliet. The team goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable.

Look, with a 9.4 rating, this place is clearly doing something right, and after staying here, I get it. It’s that rare combination of being perfectly positioned without feeling touristy or overrun. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but when you come back at the end of the day, you feel like you’re retreating to your own little corner of historic Verona. The fact that recent guests keep praising the location tells you everything — when you’re exploring a city like this, where you stay really does make all the difference in your experience. This hotel truly delivers on all fronts.

  Self Check in imkanıyla rahatça daireye giriş yaptık. Daire çok merkezi, meydana yürüyerek 3-5 dakikada ulaşabilirsiniz. Tüm merkezi de yürüyerek rahatça gezebilirsiniz. Meydanda yemek için bir sürü alternatif var.
  Biz trenle geldik Veronaya, trenden inince yürüyerek 15-20 dakikada daireye ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Yürümeyi tercih ettiğimiz için diğer alternatif ulaşım seçeneklerini araştırmadık.
  Dairenin içi beklediğimden daha genişti. 3. konuk için açılan yatak, 2kişilik yatak kadar büyüktü. Evin sıcaklığı çok güzeldi, dışarısı 6-7 derece olmasına rağmen içeride güzel bir sıcak/ılık hava vardı.
  Temizliği gayet güzeldi.
  Ev sahibi ertesi gün valizlerimizi birkaç saat evde bırakmamıza izin verdi.

  The property was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Very good location – 5min walk from the arena. The apartment had everything you would possibly need. I would definitely recommend this place.

  This is how a vacation rental should be! Automated and easy check-in, check-out, great location, good wifi, comfortable beds, excellent shower, every possible amenity (washing machine, hair dryer, etc.), details on the area (maps, brochures), great communication, and even nice touches like (4x waters, 4x Lindt candies). It's not that hard really, but this Dreaming Verona does it well! Nice job, and thank you for a great stay.
