Enchanting Verona Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Enchanting Verona, I was a bit skeptical. You know how hotel names can be, well, overpromising. But after spending a few nights there, I actually get it now. There’s something genuinely captivating about this 4-star spot that goes beyond the obvious Shakespeare connections you’d expect in Verona.
What really struck me was how the hotel manages to feel both elegant and approachable at the same time. The lobby has this warm, amber lighting that makes everything look softer in the evenings, and honestly, I found myself lingering there with a glass of wine more often than I planned. The staff – and this is something you notice right away – they’re not just going through the motions. They actually seem to know the city well, which means a lot when you’re trying to figure out where to grab the best risotto or which piazzas are worth the walk (spoiler: most of them are, but some are definitely better at sunset). The 8.6 rating makes sense once you’ve been there a day or two. It’s not flashy or trying too hard, but the details work. The rooms are thoughtfully laid out – I mean, someone actually considered where you’d want to plug in your phone and put your coffee cup in the morning. The beds are properly comfortable, not just hotel-comfortable, and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which you can’t always count on in Italian hotels, even the nice ones.
What I really appreciated was the location’s relationship with the city itself. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble, but you’re also not so far out that getting to the Arena or Juliet’s balcony becomes a whole production. The neighborhood has that lived-in feeling where you’ll see locals walking their dogs in the morning and families heading out for evening passeggiatas. There’s a little caffè around the corner – I never caught the name – where they make exceptional cappuccinos, and the hotel staff will point you toward spots like that rather than just the obvious tourist traps. The only minor thing I’d mention is that some rooms face a busier street, so if you’re sensitive to traffic sounds, it’s worth asking for a quieter side when you book. But honestly, it’s Verona – there’s always going to be some delightful chaos of Vespa engines and animated conversations drifting up from the streets, and after a while, it just becomes part of the soundtrack. This place gets the balance right between comfort and authenticity, which is trickier than it sounds in a city that could easily coast on romance and history alone.

What could be improved: The Air Conditioning in the bedrooms broke down on our 2nd night so it made for a most uncomfortable night. We advised Valentina who told us it was reset but it was not (she subsequently advised “the remote reset did not work”) and a technician had to be called, but this was after we had left so not much use

Beautiful luxury apartment
What could be improved: No kettle or large cups/mugs for tea. Missing a few practical facilities.Denada from Albania – 13 September 2023 (8/10)
The apartment is very good located, and very easy to find. Very modern and clean.
What could be improved: Even though the reservation was made days before our arrival and it was specified that we were traveling with small children and would arrive relatively late at the apartment, we had a very difficult time getting into the apartment. We had to wait for about 2 hours in the middle of the night, outside the apartment, with small children, in order to get inside, since no one answered us despite numerous phone calls and messages. And in the end, after many attempts to contact the owner of the apartment, we were able to enter, and they told us that the information was sent to the wrong address, not the one we had specified. It was their problem and they did not care about that. although our information was clear. They should be more careful and responsible for where they send information and to answer in time the phone that they leave available to be contacted. Traveling with children and staying in the middle of the night outside except that the owner will not answer the phone is unacceptable.
The apartment also was on the fourth floor and there was no elevator. This was very problematic with the suitcases and with children's.Helen from United Kingdom – 5 September 2023 (9/10)

Our recent stay at this centrally located apartment was truly enjoyable. The apartment's spacious layout provided ample room for relaxation and activities, and the well-equipped kitchen was a standout feature, perfect for those who enjoy cooking. The convenience of having a bakery and an ice cream shop within walking distance added a delightful touch to the experience. Stefania's assistance in securing restaurant reservations and providing valuable recommendations greatly enhanced our experience. While the overall experience was great, a few minor improvements could elevate it to a perfect score. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a comfortable and well-located retreat.
What could be improved: While the location offered easy access to local attractions, yet some practical information such as the WiFi password could have been more readily available. The numerous flights of stairs, demanding for even the physically fit, posed a challenge when carrying heavy luggage. The air conditioning in the bedroom leaked, and despite informing the management, the issue remained unresolved. The apartment's cleanliness left something to be desired upon arrival. Bedding and towels were set up for four guests instead of the five we had booked for. These issues, if addressed, could significantly enhance the guest experience.Evgeniya from Israel – 14 August 2023 (9/10)
Spacious cozy apartment in a great location, really enjoyed our stay!
Nikhil from United States – 26 July 2023 (9/10)
It was a gorgeous two-story apartment, that was super spacious and beautiful. Nice and comfortable furnishings. modern touches.
Modern refrigerator, we loved that there was a wine fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, and cooking supplies if you wanted to cook!
Air conditioning was great as was the Wi-Fi.
Super thoughtful touch is included shampoo, body wash, and soap in every bathroom as well as towels. They have amenities for you to use such as hairdryers, fans, sunblock spray, lots of places to charge your devices, number for a local pizza place, etc. Great location and we would definitely stay there again!
What could be improved: Cons: it’s on the 3rd floor do you have to walk up with suitcases.
Minor-no coffee/tea mugs only little espresso mugs.
Some spots could’ve been cleaned a little better, but it is a very large apartment, so might be hard to get to all the corners.
If there was a washer and dryer, we could not find it. We couldn’t figure out how to log onto Wi-Fi the first day, and were told it’s on the modem in the master bedroom. Eniko from Hungary – 12 April 2023 (9/10)
