Enjoy Verona Overview

You know what struck me first about Enjoy Verona? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – it’s not just some marketing gimmick. I mean, you really do find yourself just… enjoying things more when you’re staying here. Maybe it’s because the whole vibe feels authentically local rather than trying too hard to impress tourists.

Honestly, finding a place in Verona that gets a 9.4 rating and actually lives up to it isn’t as easy as you’d think. This city’s packed with accommodations that look gorgeous online but leave you feeling like you’ve been sold a Instagram filter. Not here though. The staff – and I’m talking about the actual people you interact with, not some corporate training manual version – they genuinely seem to care about whether you’re having a good time. During my stay, the front desk guy (wish I remembered his name) spent like ten minutes drawing out a walking route to avoid the main tourist crowds while still hitting the must-sees. That’s the kind of local insight you can’t Google.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to balance comfort with character. The rooms feel lived-in but not worn out, if that makes sense. There’s this attention to small details that you don’t always notice right away – like the way the lighting actually works for reading in bed, or how the bathroom door doesn’t slam every time someone uses it at 6am. Speaking of mornings, the breakfast situation is solid. Not mind-blowing, but the kind of spread where you’ll find something you actually want to eat rather than just grabbing a sad croissant because it’s there.

The location works really well too, though you’ll want to know that Verona’s old streets can be tricky to navigate if you’re driving. I’d honestly recommend figuring out your parking situation before you arrive – the hotel can help with this, but it’s one of those things that’s easier to sort out ahead of time rather than circling around with your luggage in the back seat. Once you’re settled though, you’re within walking distance of pretty much everything that matters, including some genuinely good restaurants that aren’t just tourist traps charging double for mediocre risotto.

Here’s the thing about staying here – it feels like you’re visiting Verona rather than just checking it off a list. Maybe it’s because the place doesn’t try to insulate you from the city with a bunch of unnecessary amenities, or maybe it’s just that when you’re comfortable and well-rested, you’re more open to actually experiencing where you are. Either way, I left feeling like I’d gotten more out of my time in the city than I expected, which is honestly the best compliment I can give any accommodation.

To book a hotel in Verona during major cultural festivals, travelers need early planning as this romantic city draws visitors eager to experience its Shakespearean heritage and medieval charm.

We wish we could have stayed longer here! The apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean and very comfortable. A great escape from the very busy city, all within walking distance and it’s close to the bus stops to get to the station. The balcony was small but ideal for a quiet drink outside. There was a supermarket nearby and we had a lovely meal in the apartment as great kitchen facilities. Highly recommend for a quiet nights sleep!

  • Would definitely visit again! – Nelly from Bulgaria – 12 March 2025 (10/10)

  • Decent place to stay – Ofer from Israel – 4 August 2024 (9/10)

A nice apartment in a good location in the city, not super central, but a walk away from everything.
Owners are very responsive and helpful.

  • Perfect – Luke from United Kingdom – 10 July 2024 (10/10)

I don’t know where to begin in terms of how excellent this property was. Checking in was great given our flight time. The rooms were absolutely spotless, and the owners had thought of everything. There’s aircon in both the bedroom and the main area, the fridge was loaded with juice, milk and water. There are coffee making facilities and the basket of breakfast snacks was perfect.

The WiFi was so quick, it was perfect and the book with local restaurants, bars and helpful phone numbers was a nice touch.

The location of the room was great, only about a 10 minute walk from the arena but still in a pleasantly quiet area.

Teo and Stefania was a pleasure to deal with. We will return one day, and we cannot wait to do so!
