Here’s what you need to know about the location — it’s basically perfect. You’re literally in the heart of everything that matters in Verona, but on a street that feels authentically local. I mean, you can walk to Juliet’s balcony in about three minutes (though honestly, skip the crowds and just enjoy knowing it’s there). The real magic happens when you wander toward Piazza delle Erbe or catch an opera at the Arena — both are close enough that you’ll never need a taxi, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the noise all night.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed, which seems to be the Italian way of doing things right. Everything has its place, and there’s this attention to detail that you don’t always find in larger hotels. The windows open onto the narrow street below, and if you’re lucky enough to get one facing the right direction, you’ll catch glimpses of medieval architecture that’ll make you forget you’re not in a movie. The beds are comfortable — not too soft, not too firm — and the linens feel properly Italian, if that makes sense.

Neighborhood Vibes

What I love about staying here is how quickly you slip into a local rhythm. There’s a little café around the corner where the barista will remember your order by day three, and the evening passeggiata (that’s the Italian evening stroll, for those who don’t know) flows right past your doorstep. You’re close enough to the main sights that you can pop back to your room for a quick rest between exploring sessions — something you’ll definitely want to do if you’re visiting in summer when the heat gets intense around midday.

The 9.4 rating honestly doesn’t surprise me at all, and that perfect 10.0 location score from couples makes complete sense. There’s something romantic about staying in a place that feels like a well-kept secret, even though you’re steps away from everything worth seeing. The staff seems to genuinely care about your experience rather than just going through the motions, and they’ll give you the kind of local recommendations that actually matter — like which gelateria has the shortest lines or the best time to visit the Castelvecchio without fighting crowds.   Location and Inside Apartment

  Although we never met, Matteo the host sent welcoming and helpful messages. The stylish ground floor apartment in a traditional building was large, comfortable and quiet with very comfortable bed and excellent facilities. Location was great – close to old city sights of Verona but also near the river and bridges for orientation. There was an Osteria and cafe 30 metres away and many more a short walk away. Great value for a few days in Verona.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing we did not already know – such as no outside space to sit in and not much daylight. But this is to be expected in traditional buildings in narrow streets.

  The apartment was perfect for our 2 night stay. It had plenty of space and everything we needed. The location was perfect – quiet but very close to the main centre. The host Matteo was very kind and helpful with check in. We will definitely be recommending this apartment to our friends and can’t wait to come back.

  Location was excellent for the major tourist attractions of Verona.
  Facilities offered were generally very good. Could have benefited from a room safe (although window guards on ground floor apartment were good (although not on bathroom window) and apartment door lock appeared very secure).
  Again could have benefited from better lighting in the internal hallway (as at night, difficult to see the door key lock easily).

  Absolutely beautiful apartment. Excellent communication from host. Clear instructions on how to get to apartment from train station with bus numbers etc. Apartment was very clean, lovely equipped kitchen.
