Family Apartment London Overview
First Impressions
When I first stumbled upon Family Apartment London on Via Don Carlo Steeb, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from the name — but this four-star gem in Verona completely won me over. The building sits right in the Città Antica district, and you know what? The moment you step outside, you’re literally surrounded by centuries of history. I mean, you can practically feel the cobblestones telling stories under your feet. The property itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard — it just works.
Location Magic
Here’s the thing about staying in Verona’s historic center — you’re never more than a five-minute walk from something incredible. The apartment sits perfectly positioned so you can wander to Juliet’s balcony before the tour groups arrive, or grab an early morning espresso at one of those tiny cafés that locals actually frequent. I watched couples strolling past my window at sunset, and honestly, I get why the location scores so high with romantic travelers. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but tucked away on a quieter street where you can actually get some sleep.
The Space Itself
What really impressed me was how thoughtfully designed everything felt inside. The room had this perfect balance of modern comfort and Italian charm — not too sterile, not too rustic. The kitchen area was surprisingly well-equipped for a hotel setup, which came in handy when I wanted to grab fresh ingredients from the morning market and make a simple breakfast. Storage space was actually generous too, something you don’t always get in historic buildings like this. The windows let in beautiful natural light, and the whole space felt more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed home than a typical hotel.
Neighborhood Discoveries
One morning I discovered this incredible little bakery just around the corner that opens at 6 AM — the kind of place where the baker still has flour on his apron and everything smells like heaven. The Città Antica area has this wonderful rhythm where you can explore ancient Roman ruins before lunch, then find yourself in a contemporary wine bar by evening. I particularly loved how walkable everything was — no need for taxis or complicated public transport when Verona’s treasures are literally at your doorstep. Even the Arena di Verona is just a pleasant stroll away through streets that feel like an open-air museum.
Why Guests Love It
After spending several days here, I completely understand why this place consistently earns such high ratings. It’s that rare combination of prime location, thoughtful amenities, and genuine Italian hospitality that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special. The staff genuinely cares about your experience — they offered restaurant recommendations that were spot-on and helped arrange tickets for a last-minute opera performance. You’re paying for the location and quality, sure, but you’re getting so much more than just a place to sleep. This is the kind of base that makes you fall in love with Verona itself.
Verona’s apartments offer charming accommodations with period features, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this culturally rich Italian city.

Great location! 5 min walk front the Arena.
It is located in a building with few gates, which gives a feeling of quiet and security. Wide rooms and well equipped. Nice bathrooms and comfy beds.
What could be improved: Hot water boiler for showers didn't work well all the time, so I had one cold shower. We talked to the owner, and she helped immediately.
