The spaces are genuinely family-friendly too, not just marketing speak – there’s actually room to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase for your entire stay. The kitchenettes are properly equipped, which is huge if you’re traveling with kids or just want to grab some local ingredients from the market and cook something simple.

Location-wise, you’re really well positioned in Verona without being stuck in the touristy chaos around the arena. I found myself walking to most places I wanted to see, but more importantly, I stumbled across those little neighborhood spots you’d never find if you were staying in the main tourist zone. There’s this fantastic pasticceria about three minutes away that locals line up at every morning – honestly, their cornetti were better than anything I had in the city center. The 8.7 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not trying to be some luxury experience, it just does everything right. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, the place was spotless, and when I had a minor issue with the WiFi, someone actually showed up to fix it instead of just telling me to restart the router. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying an extra night because leaving feels like too much effort, and that’s really the best compliment I can give any accommodation.

  Clean and spacious. Staff very friendly. Plenty of room for older families. Liked the water, coffee pods and shampoos. While fairly close to town, it was accessible by buses. There were a few restaurants nearby but not a lot wr tended to eat in town. A very large supermarket wasn't far away.
  
  What could be improved: Being the top floor it had interesting sloped roof, fine for the shorter people, but the 6ft 2 members did bump their heads a few times. No damage done 🙂
