What struck me right away was how this hotel manages to feel both intimate and polished at the same time. The staff genuinely seems to remember your preferences after just a day or two (I mean, they had my coffee order down by the second morning), and there’s this comfortable rhythm to the place that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special rather than just another hotel stay. The rooms have this really nice attention to detail – not in a stuffy, don’t-touch-anything way, but more like someone actually thought about what you’d want after a long day of exploring. The beds are seriously comfortable, and I’m someone who usually takes forever to adjust to hotel pillows.

The common areas have this relaxed vibe where you can actually imagine hanging out, which honestly isn’t always the case. I spent quite a bit of time just people-watching and planning my next day’s adventures, and the Wi-Fi actually works well throughout the building (you’d be surprised how often that’s not a given). What really impressed me was how they handle the little things – towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, shower pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices, and housekeeping that’s thorough without being intrusive. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there for a couple days. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place you’ve ever stayed, but it absolutely nails being the kind of spot where everything just works the way it should. You’ll find yourself recommending it to friends not because it’s flashy, but because it’s genuinely well-run and comfortable in all the ways that actually matter when you’re traveling.
