I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Flat blue, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes these smaller properties surprise you in the best ways. The lobby has this unexpectedly calming vibe with its blue-themed décor (hence the name, I’m guessing), and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup.

What really won me over was how genuine the staff felt – they actually seemed to care about getting things right rather than just going through the motions. My room was clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything worked properly, which honestly puts it ahead of some pricier places I’ve stayed. The bed was surprisingly good for a mid-range hotel, and I actually slept well without any of that typical hotel room stuffiness. The shower had decent water pressure too, which – let’s face it – can make or break your morning routine when you’re traveling.

Here’s the thing about Flat blue that really stuck with me: it feels like the kind of place that knows exactly what it is and doesn’t try to be anything else. The 8.2 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to compete with luxury hotels, but it delivers solidly on the basics that matter most. I mean, you get clean rooms, helpful service, and a comfortable stay without any pretense or inflated prices. The common areas have this lived-in quality that somehow feels more welcoming than sterile perfection. There were a few small touches that showed someone actually thinks about guest experience – like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with marble bathrooms or rooftop bars, but if you’re looking for a reliable, comfortable base without breaking the bank, this place gets it right. I’d definitely consider staying here again, which honestly says more than any fancy amenities list ever could.

  What could be improved: I forgot a speaker at this stay. Tried contacting, but they said they did not find it there. But I am sure I left it there.

  Spacious! The a/c units in the bedrooms are a great addition. The manager was very helpful and made sure all the a/c units were working. He also kindly helped us call a cab.
  
  What could be improved: It was very hard to find! Google maps kept sending us to another nearby location. The manager had to walk out and found us wandering around trying to locate the flat.

  front door wouldn't close unless locked so if someone is in and want to nap.. Others can't enter.

  No lights next to beds. One central light that's exceptionally white and bright
