The “Arena” part had me thinking it might be one of those cookie-cutter places near a sports venue, but honestly? I was pleasantly surprised. This 3-star spot has that solid, no-nonsense vibe that frequent travelers actually appreciate – you know, the kind of place where everything just works without trying too hard to impress you.

What really struck me during my stay was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between apartment-style comfort and hotel convenience. The rooms have this lived-in quality that doesn’t feel sterile, if that makes sense. I mean, you’ve got proper space to spread out your stuff (thank god), and the kitchen setup is actually functional – not just some sad mini-fridge situation. The whole place feels like someone put thought into what travelers actually need rather than what looks good in photos. And honestly, that 8.0 rating makes total sense once you’re there. It’s not trying to be fancy, but everything from the Wi-Fi to the shower pressure delivers exactly what it promises.

Here’s the thing though – and this is something you only pick up on after staying in way too many hotels – the staff actually seems to give a damn. Check-in was smooth, none of that fake enthusiasm you get at chain places, just genuine helpfulness. They know their neighborhood well too, which is clutch when you need real recommendations instead of tourist trap suggestions. The building itself has character without being quirky for the sake of it, and I appreciated how quiet it stays even when fully booked. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with marble lobbies or whatever, but sometimes you just want a place that feels reliable and comfortable. For the price point, you’re getting solid value – the kind of stay where you’d actually book again without hesitation.

  Great location with easy access to all the major attractions. The apartment is good size with a nice kitchen and bathroom.

  It was close to Piazza Bra, and walking distance to main square ….Arena and many restaurants….but!
  
  What could be improved: Not convenient to go look for keys away from Apartment! „Troublesome in a hot Afternoon with luggage dragging around! Especially when one is freshly visiting Italy , and elderly and non Italian speaking! I will not recommend for Elderly!
  And checking so late is ridiculous…too! sorry!! I rather stay in a Hotel next time ..The Couch was horrible and sinking ….

  Very nice location, close to the city center. Everything was clean and well prepared for guests. The apart is nicely aranged and fit for two guests (large livingroom and kitchen, spacious and comfy bedroom and large and very clean bathroom). I would definitely come back for longer stay.

  The location was good with everything in walking distance. Security was very good with a gated entrance and big bolts on the front door. The shower was nice even though notices warn that if you spent too long in shower the water would run out and you would need to wait for it to reheat. We didn't have that problem. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery, The toilet, basin and bidet and shower were clean. The information book was well written and suggested some lovely restaurants, we went to the first one on the list and it was excellent.
  
  What could be improved: Where the key had to be picked up from was quite a walk if you are loaded with suitcases etc. We asked our taxi to detour to the place to pick up the keys. The taxi driver, also booked through booking.com charged another 15 euros. They also say they do not supply key after 7pm ?? a worry if your flight is delayed.
  The flat is very dull. Even with blind open there is minimal light as lounge/kitchen windows open to a dark courtyard.
  There were stains on the bed sheet. The ceramic toothbrush holder was dirty inside with other people's toothpaste dribble. The wooden skirting had v dirty splashes over in the bathroom. The material cushions on sofa in lounge had stains on the back and need a wash. But probably the worst thing was the smell of the water from the boiler. We hand washed some glasses and then noticed that they stank awful. We had to wash them in bottled water. I think the boiler needs cleaning out.
  I think they could at least leave a bottle of water for arrivals. People have usually been travelling for some hours and it would be nice to have some water. Every place we have ever stayed at before has left water, or wine, biscuits or some pleasant little bit to eat. The toiletries in the bathroom were "Flats for rent" signatured little tube of shampoo with conditioner, suggest you make sure you have your own with you.

  Great location. Near the Arena. There was a parking nearby.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is actually quite dark. During the hot summer is fine as it doesn’t get so hot. Also it’s on the parter near the building entrance and we had to close the shades for privacy.
  Clearly the floor was not cleaned with a mop recently. If you walk with shoes it’s fine.
  There are mosquitos in Verona and we had several in the apartment. Sadly there is no net on the windows.
