What really won me over were the apartments themselves – they’re more like your own little Verona pied-à-terre than a stuffy hotel room, which is perfect for a longer stay. Mine had this cozy setup with a full kitchen (stocked with basics, thank goodness, so I could whip up pasta from the market on Corso Porta Borsari without fuss), and the balcony overlooked a leafy courtyard that muffled the evening traffic hum. The bedding was super soft, like sinking into fresh cotton after a day of wandering – and get this, they even have a washer-dryer in-unit, which was a lifesaver after I got caught in one of those sudden July downpours. Check-in was smooth; the host met me right on time, handed over keys with a quick rundown of the neighborhood (she tipped me off to the best gelato at Gelateria Ponte Pietra, just a bridge away). It’s not flawless – the Wi-Fi dipped a tad in the evenings when everyone logs on, and the building’s a bit older, so expect some creaky floors – but overall, that 4-star vibe shines through in the thoughtful touches, like the welcome basket with local biscotti. Oh, and it’s quiet at night, aside from the occasional church bell from nearby San Giorgio in Braida, which actually added to the charm.

Honestly, if you’re heading to Verona for more than a quick Arena show – say, during the opera season when the city’s packed – this place is a smart pick. It lets you live like a local without skimping on comfort, and at a 9.4 rating, it’s no surprise folks rave about it. I left feeling like I’d discovered a hidden gem; next time, I’d book longer just to lounge on that balcony with a glass of Valpolicella, watching the world go by. You should too – well, unless you’re all about that non-stop central buzz, in which case, stick to the old town. But for the rest of us? Pure bliss.

  È un appartamento molto grande ottimo per ospitare un gruppo di 6 persone, ben fornito di tutto quello che serve vicino al centro appena a 10 minuti a piedi personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo a rispondere a ogni tua domanda, parcheggi auto facili sotto l’appartmento e ti danno addirittura il city pass per parcheggiare.   L'appartamento è davvero molto spazioso e ben arredato. Siamo rimasti colpiti dalla pulizia e in particolare in appartamento era presente tutto quello di cui potevamo aver bisogno. Macchina del caffe, lavastoviglie, asciugacapelli, ferro da stiro… Anche la cucina è davvero ben fornita. Le chiavi vanno ritirate in un posto diverso dall'appartamento ma le indicazioni fornite dai proprietari sono molto chiare e loro sono sempre disponibili per qualsiasi informazione. Torneremo sicuramente
