My apartment – well, it’s more like a flat, which is what Flats4Rent specializes in – had this cozy living area with a kitchenette stocked with basics, perfect for whipping up a simple pasta if you don’t feel like eating out every night. And the bed? Super comfy, with linens that smelled faintly of lavender, like they’d been line-dried in the Italian sun.

What really sets La dimora d’Orlando apart, though, is how it blends right into the neighborhood vibe – you’re literally steps from Piazza delle Erbe, where the market buzzes in the mornings with fresh produce and those aromatic cheeses that make your mouth water just walking by. I mean, I spent one evening on the small balcony overlooking the street, listening to the distant hum of scooters and church bells from Santa Anastasia nearby, sipping a glass of Valpolicella I’d picked up from a enoteca on Via Cappello (yeah, the same street as Juliet’s House, but skip the crowds and head there early morning). It’s rated a solid 9 for a reason – the 4-star setup includes thoughtful touches like free Wi-Fi that actually works (no buffering during my Netflix binge after a long day exploring), and air conditioning that hums quietly without drowning out the city’s sounds. Parking’s a bit of a hassle in this part of town, though – I ended up using a garage a few blocks away on Lungadige Cangrande, which isn’t cheap but beats circling forever. And fair warning, if you’re a light sleeper, the occasional late-night chatter from passersby on Via Catullo might wake you – it’s lively here, especially during opera season at the Arena, when the whole area pulses with energy until midnight or so. But that’s Verona for you; it’s not trying to be some isolated resort.

All in all, if you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re living in Verona rather than just visiting – maybe for a romantic getaway or a family trip where you need space to spread out – this place is a gem. I stayed four nights and left wishing for more; it’s got that authentic Italian warmth without the fuss, and at that location, you’re saving time (and shoe leather) on getting to spots like the Castelvecchio bridge for sunset views. Sure, it’s not perfect – the bathroom was a tad compact for two people unpacking at once – but honestly, who’d complain when you’re waking up to the scent of fresh bread from the bakery downstairs? Book it during shoulder season like May or September to avoid the peak crowds, and you’ll thank me later.

  This is a beautiful apartment with a lot of space for a family of 4. Perfect location. It was easy to collect the keys. Host responded quickly to questions.
  
  What could be improved: Check out at 10 it too early. No room darkening blinds, light shines in all night. Bring eye mask and ear plugs for a good night sleep. To use the stove the pan must be on the burner when turning it on.

  Amazing location, lovely apartment – really modern with everything you could need. Communication from the owners was brilliant and you were easily able to find where you were going and ask any questions.

  Lovely flat in a great position, easy to walk everywhere to visit all the sights of Verona
  
  What could be improved: unfortunately the a/c was not working properly and our first night there was unbearably hot and we were unable to sleep. But the staff were great and came the next morning to fix it and also offered us alternative accommodation.

  Sehr zentral, gute und leise Klimaanlage, sehr sauber, Kommunikation mit Gastgeber super unkompliziert, perfekt für Verona mittendrin! Fuläufig zu allen Hotspots.
