The whole vibe feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a hotel, which I actually prefer when I’m somewhere for more than just a night or two. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays, even when other guests are coming and going. The soundproofing is surprisingly good for this kind of setup, and trust me, that matters when you’re trying to sleep off jet lag or just need to decompress after a long day exploring.

Here’s the thing though – and this is where that 8.5 rating makes total sense – the staff genuinely seems to care about whether you’re comfortable. Check-in was smooth (they actually answered their phone when I called about arriving late), and when I had a question about the area, they gave me actual useful suggestions, not just generic tourist trap recommendations. The cleanliness level is what you’d want it to be – everything feels fresh without that overwhelming chemical smell some places have. Honestly, the attention to detail in the common areas and the way they maintain the building tells you a lot about how they’ll handle any issues that come up during your stay. It’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtful, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re trying to figure out a new place without breaking the bank.

  What could be improved: The property management company was not the best. They originally did not provide sheets for all of the beds and couldn't find the key for the garage parking spot. They did provide great recommendations for what to do in Cortina.

  The location is good to get to the Centro and San Zeno
  
  What could be improved: It is very noisy on a busy road depending upon the time of day. Because of the noise the windows are mostly kept closed which isn’t good for ventilation particularly in the hot summer months.
  The apartment seems to have been made to suit an old person with grab rails in the hall . It hasnt been modified to best suit a holiday rental so feels a little institutional. There is a smell in the entry stair.
