Flats4rent Regaste Overview
First Impressions
Walking down Vico Cieco Boscarello feels like discovering one of Verona’s best-kept secrets — and honestly, that’s exactly what Flats4rent Regaste turned out to be. This three-star property sits tucked away in the San Zeno district, which I’ll admit I hadn’t explored much before staying here. The building itself has that understated Italian charm you hope for but don’t always find, especially at this price point. There’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try too hard to impress you at the door but quietly delivers where it counts.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what surprised me most? How perfectly positioned this place is without feeling touristy. San Zeno is one of those neighborhoods where actual Veronese people live and work — you’ll hear Italian conversations at the morning café, not just English and German. The location score of 9.4 makes complete sense once you’re here; it’s about a 15-minute pleasant walk to the Arena, but you’re also close to the Adige River and some genuinely good local restaurants. I mean, couples rate the location a perfect 10, and after wandering around both day and night, I get it completely.
The Accommodation
The flats themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully practical — clean lines, good lighting, and everything you actually need without unnecessary frills. My unit had a proper kitchenette (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), which turned out to be perfect for those mornings when you want espresso at your own pace. The bathroom was modern and well-maintained, though not huge — but honestly, who spends vacation time in the bathroom anyway? What impressed me was the attention to details like good Wi-Fi, blackout curtains that actually work, and windows that open properly for fresh air.
The Experience
This isn’t the kind of place where staff hover around asking if you need anything every five minutes, which I actually appreciated. The check-in process was smooth and straightforward, and when I did have questions about the neighborhood, the recommendations were spot-on — clearly from people who know Verona well. The overall vibe is relaxed and unfussy, sort of like staying at a well-organized friend’s apartment rather than a traditional hotel. There’s a independence to it that works particularly well if you’re planning to explore the city rather than hang around the property all day.
Why Guests Love It
After a few days here, it became clear why Flats4rent Regaste has such strong ratings — it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. The combination of that excellent location in a genuine neighborhood, reasonable rates, and reliable comfort hits a sweet spot that’s harder to find than you’d think. You’re getting authentic Verona access without paying centro storico prices, and the flat-style setup gives you flexibility that standard hotel rooms just can’t match. It’s the kind of place you’d actually recommend to friends, which honestly is the best test of any accommodation.
Early hotels booking in Verona secures opera nights at the Arena, Valpolicella vineyard tastings, and intimate trattoria tables.

The location and views from this property were amazing and a great value.
What could be improved: The property management company was not the best. They originally did not provide sheets for all of the beds and couldn't find the key for the garage parking spot. They did provide great recommendations for what to do in Cortina.Laura from Italy – 16 July 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: Casa pulita ma qualche accorgimento in più nn guasta maiChristopher from Italy – 5 July 2023 (6/10)
The location is good to get to the Centro and San Zeno
What could be improved: It is very noisy on a busy road depending upon the time of day. Because of the noise the windows are mostly kept closed which isn’t good for ventilation particularly in the hot summer months.
The apartment seems to have been made to suit an old person with grab rails in the hall . It hasnt been modified to best suit a holiday rental so feels a little institutional. There is a smell in the entry stair.
