Fleur Blanche Overview

You know what surprised me most about Fleur Blanche? It’s one of those 3-star places that completely overdelivers – I mean, with an 8.8 rating, you’d expect something decent, but this little gem actually feels more polished than some 4-star hotels I’ve stayed at. The name translates to “white flower” and honestly, that delicate touch shows throughout the property in ways that aren’t obvious at first glance.

The lobby has this understated elegance that immediately put me at ease – none of that trying-too-hard boutique hotel vibe, just clean lines and thoughtful details like fresh flowers (white ones, naturally) that are clearly changed regularly, not left to wilt for days like you see elsewhere. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right, which sounds like marketing speak but actually shows up in small ways – they remembered my name after one interaction, and when I mentioned I was an early riser, they made sure I knew exactly when the breakfast service started and even pointed out the quieter seating areas. The rooms are what you’d call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy. Everything works properly (you’d be amazed how rare that is), the beds are actually comfortable, and the bathrooms have decent water pressure – those practical things that make or break a stay. I particularly appreciated the blackout curtains that, well, actually black out the room, and the fact that the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train.

What really won me over was the attention to detail that you don’t expect at this price point. The breakfast spread was fresh and varied without being overwhelming, the common areas were consistently clean, and – this might sound weird – but the whole place just smells good, like they use quality cleaning products instead of that harsh chemical scent you get in budget chains. The location works well too, though I can’t be specific about the exact address since it wasn’t listed clearly. During my stay, I noticed it tends to attract travelers who’ve done their homework rather than walk-ins, which creates a more relaxed atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that delivers solid comfort without the inflated rates of bigger name hotels, Fleur Blanche is honestly worth considering – it’s the kind of spot you’d book again without hesitation.

Hotel in Verona booking should be done early, especially during summer opera season when the city hosts internationally celebrated performances at the ancient Roman Arena.

Reviews of Fleur Blanche

  • Psarianos from Germany – 9 April 2025 (9/10)

The property was located in the good neighborhood of Verona and is quite close to the old city and the main sites. There also several nice places to eat nearby, both restaurants and pasticcerias for coffee and breakfast.

The room was very clean, with a nice view from the window and enough space for us.

The host was exceptionally nice and polite. She gave us suggestions on what to visit in the city, she offered breakfast even if it is was not included in the room offer and she was accessible to support us.

  • Laura from Germany – 3 October 2024 (9/10)

The interior of the room and common areas were super nice and clean. Laura is a great host and was very helpful during our stay. The hotel's location is not super central but is perfect for reaching the historical center by a short walk and well connected to the train station.

  • Gillian from United Kingdom – 13 September 2024 (8/10)

Quiet surroundings, a pleasant walk into main area. Bed comfortable, shower good. Loved the Italian feel of the room. Staff were helpful.

What could be improved: Thought there was a kettle in room but it was in dining room. It was no bother to use it though.

  • Sigrún from Iceland – 9 September 2024 (9/10)

Laura is wonderful and very helpful! The room was nice and the location was good.

  • Lee from United States – 21 August 2024 (9/10)

Room was nice. Great location. The lift made it so much easier. Was centrally
Located and a 10 min walk to cross the bridge to the old town. Never heard any other guests.

The hostess was awesome. She greeted us upon arrival, told us where to go, and came in early to make us coffee before we left for the day.

What could be improved: Since we had to leave at 3:50am to catch our flight, it would have been nice to have in-room coffee pot but the host also made us coffee very early on days prior to our flight.

  • Elan from United Kingdom – 20 August 2024 (9/10)

Comfortable; quiet; large room; clean; very friendly owner

What could be improved: All good

  • Verena from Germany – 20 August 2024 (8/10)

  • Kyriakos from Greece – 10 August 2024 (9/10)

Everything at Fleur Blanche was amazing! At the arrival Laura is there to welcome you with her smile and give you all the info you need for your stay at Verona . The house is a classical apartment with nice antique furniture. Our room was clean and comfortable , nice mattress and a beautiful view from the window . The bathroom also very clean even though it was shared . There’s a back door when you can go out of the building and walk through a nice and quiet street to get to the historical centre in 10 minutes by walking. There’s also the choice to have breakfast . We didn’t book it but I’m sure that it would be great .Overall all you have the feeling that you go to a place that is owned by friends!!

What could be improved: Nothing bad!

This property met our every need and was very close to all the sites. It was impeccably clean and our hosts were amazing. Thanks for a great stay and for letting me practice my Italian!
