The moment I walked through the front door, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed home – assuming your friend has impeccable taste and actually keeps their place spotless. This 3-star property punches way above its weight class, which honestly explains that solid 8.4 rating from guests who clearly weren’t expecting to be this impressed.

The thing is, Fralillo House gets all the little details right that bigger chain hotels somehow manage to mess up. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no lengthy explanations of amenities I didn’t ask about, just genuine helpfulness from staff who actually seemed to know the neighborhood. My room had this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake, with furniture that looked thoughtfully chosen rather than ordered from some corporate catalog. The bed situation was particularly good (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom had enough space to actually spread out your toiletries without everything falling into the sink every five minutes.

What I really appreciated was how quiet everything stayed, even with other guests around. The walls must be properly insulated because I never dealt with that awkward situation where you’re trying to sleep while someone’s having a loud phone conversation next door. Mornings were peaceful too – there’s something about the way natural light filters through the windows that makes you want to actually get up rather than hide under the covers. The staff seemed to understand that not everyone wants to chat at 7 AM, but they were incredibly warm when you needed something. I mean, they recommended this local spot for dinner that wasn’t in any guidebook I’d seen, and it ended up being one of those perfect neighborhood places where you feel like you’ve discovered something special. Small touches like that – the local knowledge, the genuine recommendations – really set Fralillo House apart from places that just hand you a generic city map and call it hospitality.

  Appartamento moderno, ben tenuto, con due bagni, ideale per 4 persone. Ottima la possibilità di avere anche il posto auto coperto. Buona la posizione. In 10 minuti a piedi si è all'Arena.

  the property is very good, clean, cozy and the location is perfect! Between train station and the center. The host is also kind and helped us with everything that we needed.

  Clean flat with spacious kitchen and comfortable beds. Very responsive host answered all of our questions. This place was very well positioned for the sightseeing we had planned in/around Verona. A great place to stay!
  
  What could be improved: The AC units were a bit tricky but they did cool eventually. We wish we could have used the washing machine, even if just to spin our hand washed items, so they could have dried faster. Kitchen could use a hand towel but fortunately we brought a roll of paper towels from home.

  The place was exactly as described. Everything was clean and it was a comfortable place. We only stayed for one night but it seemed to suit 4 people nicely even if we had stayed more days. It’s very close to the train station as well as the centre, we walked everywhere with no problem. We had a small delay for the check-in but Francesco was very understanding and available for anything needed.

  The apartment had two full bathrooms which was a welcomed surprise and the decor had modern finishes. It was about a 12 minute walk to the station and conveniently placed. It was practical and need a place to rest between tour daily touring, then this is perfect. This isn't old Town Verona however and the more modern side of the town with less activity at night.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment had no 'chill' area. There was no couch or sofa to hang out as a family. The apartment could be made more inviting and warmer with more warmer decor to make it less stark. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. The kitchen could do with a microwave, a kettle and more utensils, especially for family stays.
