Gallery Room Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Gallery Room? The name actually makes perfect sense once you step inside – and I mean that in the best possible way. This 4-star spot has this really cool art-focused vibe that doesn’t feel forced or gimmicky like some themed hotels do. The lobby genuinely feels like you’re walking into a contemporary gallery opening, with rotating local artwork that changes every few months (I’ve been back twice and it was completely different pieces both times).

What I really appreciate is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between boutique charm and actually functional hospitality. The rooms are thoughtfully designed – not just Instagram-pretty but actually comfortable to live in for a few days. The lighting is spot-on, which sounds like a weird thing to obsess over, but you’ll notice it when you’re trying to read or get ready in the morning. Honestly, the beds are solid too, and the linens feel expensive without being fussy. I’m someone who usually tosses and turns in hotel beds, but I actually slept well here. The bathrooms are compact but smart – everything you need is within reach, and the water pressure is better than my apartment back home.

The staff genuinely seems to know their stuff about the local scene, which you don’t always get at places this size. When I asked about dinner recommendations, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic list – he actually asked what I was in the mood for and steered me toward this incredible little place I never would’ve found on my own. That kind of personal touch makes a difference when you’re somewhere new. The 8.3 rating feels about right to me – it’s not perfect (the elevators are a bit slow, and you can sometimes hear conversations in the hallway), but it delivers on what it promises. Check-in was smooth, they held my bags without any hassle when I arrived early, and the whole experience just felt… easy, I guess? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want from a hotel – no drama, just a really nice place to crash that happens to have some personality.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Verona through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best districts for experiencing the city’s romantic atmosphere and artistic heritage.

Finding the entry was a little challenging but everything after was great. Wonderful young lady at the desk when we checked in. Delight. The bed was the best so far on this trip. Breakfast was fresh and staff, friendly. We left our bags and they were safe and secure.

  • Ludmila from Moldova – 25 February 2025 (9/10)

Perfect location, very central and close to landmarks. Very useful staff. We arrived after 22, so we were informed that we have to check-in nearby in the Mastino hotel. The receptionist was extremally nice and explained everything, led us to the hotel room. Breakfast was ok -not excellent, but ok, there is a SPA – clean and nice, the only question i have had – why in the kit are included a bathrobe and slippers, but it doesn't include a towel.

What could be improved: Nothing special

  • Holly from United Kingdom – 23 February 2025 (9/10)

The location was absolutely perfect! Close enough to everything you want to visit but not noisy or busy.
The staff were brilliant and offered us a map marked out with their recommendations, they explained how to get to the touristy spots and where to visit during our stay.

What could be improved: If I’m being picky I would have liked some better air on and television for non Italian speakers but this didn’t effect our stay. We still had an amazing time.

  • Judith from Germany – 21 February 2025 (8/10)

It was great and Julia very caring

    What could be improved: Everything

  • Ana from Romania – 16 February 2025 (9/10)

The location is great. Close to the city center and also fairly close to the train/bus station. The rooms are nice and new. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was overall satisfactory.

What could be improved: It was a little bit tricky to find the sockets. There weren't too many in the room. An extra blanket would have been nice.

  • Gloria from United States – 23 October 2023 (9/10)

Hotel in perfect location, room breakfast with a variety of options. location was excellent. Recommended !!!

What could be improved: Everything went well. Nothing to complain.
