The location thing is interesting too. You’re not right in the thick of tourist chaos, but you’re not stranded either. I found myself walking to most places I wanted to go, and when I didn’t feel like walking, getting around was pretty straightforward. What I really appreciated was the neighborhood feel – you’ll see locals going about their day, which always makes a place feel more authentic to me. The mornings are particularly nice here, actually. There’s this gentle energy that builds throughout the day, but early on it’s just peaceful enough that you can sit with your thoughts and plan out what you want to tackle. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which – let’s be real – can make or break a stay sometimes. I did notice things get a bit busier during peak season (which probably explains why booking ahead is smart), but even then it never felt overwhelming. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re someone who needs absolute silence to sleep, you might want to ask about room placement when you check in – not that it’s particularly noisy, just that some rooms face more active areas than others. But honestly? That’s pretty standard for most places, and the overall experience here is solid enough that it’s hardly worth worrying about.
