This is one of those 3-star spots that really gets the basics right without trying to be something it’s not. With an 8.6 rating, you can tell guests appreciate the honest, no-nonsense approach here.

The rooms themselves are exactly what you’d hope for – clean, comfortable, and designed by someone who clearly understands what travelers actually need. I’m talking about proper bedside lighting (you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong), decent shower pressure, and windows that actually keep street noise out. The décor won’t win any design awards, but it’s got this warm, lived-in feel that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax. Honestly, after spending way too much money on “boutique” hotels that look pretty but have paper-thin walls and mattresses that feel like cardboard, places like this restore your faith in the whole star rating system.

What I really appreciate is how the staff treats you like a person, not just another booking confirmation. They’re the kind of people who’ll actually give you real restaurant recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the tourist traps, and they seem genuinely interested in making sure you have a good stay. The check-in process is refreshingly straightforward – none of that over-the-top welcome ritual some places insist on when you’re tired and just want to get to your room. It’s worth noting that this isn’t one of those massive chain operations, so you’ll get that personal touch without the corporate script. Sure, you might not have a concierge service or a fancy spa, but sometimes you just want a solid base where you can recharge between exploring, and Giove Rooms delivers on that promise without any pretense.

  The location is perfect . Walking distance everywhere. The room is spacious , clean , bed is comfortable. There was kitchen equipment, a few towels brought to our room and cleaned once during those three days stay.
  
  What could be improved: We didn’t like the fact that the front door to the apartment is not being locked and you can only lock our room.
  Also there was a coffee machine but no coffee pods so that’s a bit inconvenient.

  The house was located near the center. The room was so comfort and clean!

  The room was spacious. It had a desk, a tv, and a big closet. The external bathroom was also large. Both the bathroom and the room are very clean. It seems that Francesco cleans the external private bathroom daily as well as the communal dining area. He also cleaned our room and left us new towels every other day which we weren't expecting, but were very grateful for. We only met Francesco once on the property, but he was kind. He is responsive to questions and provides sufficient information on how to check yourself in once you arrive on the property. The location is pretty good too. It's in a quiet location just a 5-10 minute walk away from the historic center walls. The room itself wasn't well isolated to sound so you might hear other guests talking, but it was pretty quiet when we were there as other guests were very respectful about the noise as well. Overall a great stay. Thank you, Francesco!
  
  What could be improved: If I were being really picky, the shower in the external private bathroom seems quite tight/small for taller or larger people. Otherwise, we didn't really have any issues with it.

  Very clean and comfortable room. Good location to explore city – it's about 10-15 minutes walk to city center and main attractions. Friendly host provided clear instructions to self check-in (it is very good option).

  Beautiful and spacious room with a large private bathroom and balcony. The entire property is spotless and comfortable. Great facilities and very well maintained.
  Francesco is wonderful to deal with and gave wonderful instructions to enter the property. He allowed us to leave our bags for a couple of hours after check-out. This meant that we could see Juliet’s Tomb and the Archaeological Museum before our train.
  The shared kitchen area is well-stocked with a fridge, toaster, kettles, crockery, cutlery and bottle opener.
  
  What could be improved: We couldn’t make coffee. There is a pod machine but we brought ground coffee with us.

  Excellent location! Very clean, comfortable, and the balcony was great too, especially because we had a dog with us. The host was very communicative and helpful.

  Best budget option available. perfect location 15 minutes to everywhere.very cute bars to make aperitivo near, like 5 minutes. we were so happy with our stay, it was very clean and comfy, and he was very helpful.
