Here’s what I love about staying in Borgo Roma — you’re actually in Verona proper, not stuck in some tourist bubble. The location is brilliant because you can walk to the historic center (it’s about 15-20 minutes on foot), but you’re also right near the train station if you need to hop over to Venice or Milan for a day trip. There’s decent parking around the area too, which honestly saved me a headache since driving in Italian city centers can be challenging. The neighborhood offers excellent connectivity.

The Suite Experience

The room — or should I say suite — really delivers on the tower concept. Floor-to-ceiling windows give you these sweeping views over the city, and depending on which floor you’re on, you might catch glimpses of the distant hills. The space feels genuinely spacious, not like they just slapped “suite” on the name for marketing. There’s a proper seating area separate from the bed, and the bathroom actually has enough counter space for two people to get ready without bumping into each other. Every detail reflects careful planning.

  L'appartement est très propre, très bien équipé et assez grand pour 2 personnes. Literie impeccable et confortable. La terrasse est très agréable. L'appartement est situé en face d'un parc (pratique pour le sport matinal). Il y a 2 bus qui mènent au centre ville le 51 et le 52 et l'arrêt se situe à environ 100m à gauche en sortant de la propriété. Si vous prenez votre billet dans un Tabacchi, vous payez 1.50 euros et 2 euros si vous le prenez dans le bus. Environ 10-15 minutes pour se rendre à Plazza Bra, dans le centre historique. Garage sécuritaire au-dessous de l'immeuble. La communication avec Marcus était très rapide quand nous avions des questions. Le supermarché est à environ 300 mètres de l'appartement derrière le parc.
  
  What could be improved: Il serait bien d'avoir dans l'appartement une fiche avec des informations: notamment, le code WIFI (cela éviterait d'avoir à le chercher sous la box), les infos pour le bus et le supermarché, peut-être un plan de la ville (que vous pouvez trouver sinon a l'office du tourisme), des suggestions de visite et de restaurants.
  Sinon, une ou deux petites choses: il manquait un tire-bouchons, presque plus de produit à vaisselle et plus d'huile. Avoir un peu de lessive serait aussi apprécié. Quand on voyage, on n'a pas tout cela forcément avec soi. Finalement, il serait bien d'avoir une lampe d'ambiance dans le salon. Ce ne sont bien sûr que des détails, mais c'est la différence entre un 8 et un 10 !

  Appartement moderne, bien équipé, avec deux agréables balcons.
  Communication fluide avec le propriétaire.
  Situé un peu en dehors du centre ville mais arrêt de bus à 2min.

  Die Wohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet, alles vorhanden. Es gibt zwar keine Spülmaschine wie geschrieben, dafür eine Waschmaschine, die wir gerne benützten.
  100 m vom Haus entfernt fährt der Bus ins Zentrum von Verona und eingrosser Supermarkt gibt es auch im der Nähe.
  Der Besitzer antwortet immer umgehend und gibt nützliche Informationen.

  Great location if you want to go on the exhibition. Supermarket is just 5 minutes from the flat.
  Flat is big, has 2 balconies, bedroom, living room, everything you need for a short stay. Host was very friendly, provided the instructions in chat and was ready to answer my questions.
