Good night Romeo – Eleganti Dimore Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Good night Romeo – Eleganti Dimore, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The romantic Shakespeare reference had me wondering if this was going to be one of those overly themed places that tries too hard, you know? But actually, it turned out to be quite charming in a more understated way than the name suggests.
The property has this boutique feel that’s pretty refreshing for a 3-star place. I mean, you’re not getting luxury resort vibes here, but there’s definitely character in the rooms and common areas. The decor leans into that “elegant dwellings” promise without being stuffy about it – think classic Italian touches mixed with modern comfort. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even during busy periods. The walls seem properly insulated, which honestly isn’t always a given at this price point. The staff genuinely seemed to care about getting the details right, from check-in (which was smooth) to little touches like actually decent coffee in the morning.
Now, the 7.4 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re paying for. This isn’t going to blow your mind, but it delivers solidly on the basics while adding some nice surprises. The bathrooms are well-maintained, the beds are comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep (living up to that “good night” promise), and there’s decent WiFi throughout. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle depending on when you arrive – I’d recommend asking about options when you book rather than just showing up and hoping for the best. The neighborhood itself has that authentic residential feel where you’ll hear local life happening around you, which I actually found pretty pleasant. You’re close enough to main attractions without being right in the tourist chaos, if that makes sense. I’d say this place works well if you want something with personality that won’t break the bank, especially if you’re the type who spends most of your time exploring rather than lounging around the hotel.

Ideally located apartment: in the center but at the same time in a quiet neighborhood. The building has an elevator (the apartment is on the second floor of a townhouse). Clean and spacious bathroom, large bedroom with king size bed. All of Verona's attractions accessible by walking distance.
What could be improved: No internet access (not working)Peter from Australia – 30 May 2024 (5/10)
The location was good
What could be improved: Very difficult contact upon arrival. Difficult to find. No signage. Be cautious with this booking. Seeing the photos we thought we booked the one with kitchen and washing machine. The room was newly done small and no facilities for even making a cup of tea. We explained this to the contact person. Not much help in response.Patrizia from Austria – 4 September 2023 (9/10)
Very good location, nice room, very clean.
Nina from Slovenia – 27 August 2023 (8/10)
Great location, near to the center. No parking problem ( 1 eur per hour ). Comfortable and big bad. Recomended.
Sean from United States – 19 August 2023 (6/10)
Great location super close to the arena with lots of space.
What could be improved: Check in was a mess. The host couldn’t open the door remotely and then we’re told to continually go to the wrong door after she could open it. The host stopped responding to us as soon as we got into the apartment. We asked for extended check out, check out instructions and where to leave the keys over a 10 hour period and never got a response. Lastly the place needs to be better cleaned. There were clumps of hair in the house, stains on the walls, the shower tiles had mold. The remote didn’t work to turn off the ac in the bedroom.Dani from Germany – 16 July 2023 (4/10)
