It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with fancy lobby displays or over-the-top amenities, but somehow ends up being exactly what you need. I mean, with a 7.4 rating, I wasn’t expecting miracles – but honestly, sometimes the mid-range spots surprise you more than the five-star places that promise the world.

The loft-style setup actually works really well here. The rooms have this industrial-chic vibe going on – exposed elements mixed with modern touches that feel authentic rather than forced. What I appreciated most was the space; you’re not bumping into furniture every time you turn around, which is honestly refreshing after staying in so many cramped hotel rooms. The windows are generous too, so you get decent natural light during the day. Check-in was pretty straightforward – no unnecessary upselling or complicated procedures, just friendly staff who seemed to actually know their property.

Here’s the thing though – this isn’t a place where you’ll find a concierge who can get you last-minute theater tickets or a spa that rivals a luxury resort. But if you’re looking for a comfortable base where you can spread out your stuff, get solid Wi-Fi for work (because let’s be real, most of us travel with laptops now), and sleep well without breaking the bank, Grace Center Loft delivers. The beds are actually comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – and the bathrooms are clean with decent water pressure. I noticed they keep things pretty quiet too; whether it’s good soundproofing or just thoughtful guest management, I wasn’t dealing with hallway conversations at midnight or slamming doors at dawn. The neighborhood itself has character without being sketchy, and there are enough nearby options for food and coffee that you’re not stuck with whatever’s in the hotel restaurant. It’s the kind of place where you realize that sometimes a solid 7.4 rating means they’re doing the fundamentals right rather than chasing flashy extras that don’t really matter.

  But there are some very unpleasant moments, so next time, I would rather live somewhere else than book this accommodation.
  1). Terrible internet. Wi-fi works at a speed of 30-50 kbt
  2). No duvet cover on the bed. Just two sheets.
  3). Most of the sockets are broken.
  4). The washing machine is broken.
  5). The shower is leaking.
  
  The main thing is the owner's attitude towards guests.
  He did not say how to get into the apartment in advance. Only upon arrival. I did not have internet, and the owner said that it was my problem. I had to come to Verona, find some bar with internet, and then find out how to get into the apartment.
  All other owners always tell in advance, a day before.
  
  The apartment is generally not bad, but the terrible attitude of the owner towards it and the guests spoils the whole impression.

  Really nice flat.
  Location was very good, easy to walk to the sites in town. Plenty of space in the flat. separate bedroom from lounge and eating area
  
  What could be improved: The lighting was problematic. It was quite dark as there were no overhead lights only lamps. This was More problematic because a lot of the power points didn't work. Apparently they are going to be fixed at some point.
  The Flat really needs some attention to detail and it could be really fantastic.

  Great location close to the centre! Clear, friendly and easy communication with the host. The space was larger than expected and the bed was comfy.

  What could be improved: Wifi was really poor. There are curtains but they are sheer and don’t meet the bottom of the window which let alot of light in the bedroom during the night and felt like a bit of a privacy issue in the bathroom.

  There was no AC and it was really hot, but we already knew it when we booked it.

  Location is fantastic, close to the river on the quieter side of the city but minutes walk from all the main attractions.

  The bed is comfortable and the location is amazing. The living area is nice and spacious. The kitchen a bit small, but that's not weird in the city center.
  
  What could be improved: The appartment needs some maintenance. And some basic kitchen stuff like a cutting board was not there. However, the host was very helpful when I called him for some things.
