You know what struck me most about Green House 71? It’s one of those places that immediately feels right when you walk in – and honestly, with a 9.3 rating, I wasn’t entirely surprised, but I was curious to see if it would live up to the hype. The lobby has this warm, almost residential feel that makes you forget you’re in a hotel at all. There’s something about the way they’ve arranged the common spaces that just works – comfortable seating that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel furniture catalog, and the lighting actually makes you look good in photos (trust me, I tested this).

The rooms themselves are where this place really shines, and I mean that literally – the natural light situation here is fantastic. I’m guessing that’s partly where the “Green House” name comes from, because there’s this emphasis on plants and natural elements throughout that doesn’t feel forced or Instagram-y. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m talking proper sleep, not just okay-for-one-night comfort), and the bathrooms have those little touches that show someone was actually thinking about the guest experience. The water pressure is solid, which – let’s be honest – can make or break a hotel stay. What I really appreciated was the attention to sound insulation; even when the hotel seemed pretty full, I barely heard my neighbors, which is increasingly rare these days.

Staff-wise, they’ve got that sweet spot between attentive and not-hovering-over-you figured out. Check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about local restaurants, the front desk person gave me actual recommendations, not just the standard tourist traps. The four-star rating feels accurate – it’s polished and well-run without being stuffy or over-the-top formal. I actually found myself hanging out in the common areas more than I usually do at hotels, which says something about how they’ve created the atmosphere. If you’re the type who appreciates good design details and wants a place that feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a generic hotel, this is definitely worth considering. The high rating isn’t just numbers – you can feel why people keep coming back here.

  This is a very nice and clean apartment, well equipped. You can buy everything from the Aldi supermarket, 200 metres away.

  Everything was perfect. Apartment was very clean and well organised. Bed sheets were smelling so fresh and nice. Apartment is located 30 min walk from the city centre but buses are available nearby. One of the bus stops was just next to the apartment. Also Aldi store was 3 min away so that's handy as well.
  Area was pretty quiet and safe. It was very peaceful for sleeping during night.
  Giuliana, the host, was so nice and helpful with everything. Very friendly approach from such a nice lady. We also asked if we can leave our luggage in the building after check out and she was so helpful with that as well. But even if that option wasn't possible I believe she would have a good recommendation for a safe luggage storage place in the city.
  I have travelled a lot in the past 10 years and I can say that this was one of the best apartments that I have stayed in so far, along with such an exceptional friendly hosting by Giuliana.

  The apartment was new, modern and clean. We rented this apartment because we wanted to prepare our own meals and we were very pleased to see that there was salt & pepper, coffee, tea, milk, and complimentary bottle of water and bottle of wine. The quality of pots/pans, dishes were much better than many places we have rented in Italy. There was also a brand new Aldi about 200m away. We really appreciated Mario meeting us at the train station. The owners are very customer focused and communicative.
  
  What could be improved: To note, it is not that close to the centre (30 min walk). We don't mind walking, but for those who do, there is a bus stop steps away from the apartment.
