You know what really surprised me about Green Leaves? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not – and honestly, that’s exactly what made my stay so comfortable. When I first walked into the lobby, I wasn’t blown away by marble floors or crystal chandeliers, but there was this warm, lived-in feeling that immediately put me at ease. The staff actually seemed to care about helping rather than just going through the motions, which is rarer than you’d think these days.

The rooms are what I’d call “pleasantly straightforward” – clean beds with decent linens, a bathroom that’s been updated sometime in the last decade (always a good sign), and windows that actually open if you want fresh air instead of just recycled AC. I mean, it’s a solid 3-star setup, nothing fancy but everything works. The shower had proper water pressure, which honestly made my morning routine so much better than some of the “luxury” places I’ve stayed where the water barely trickles out. What I really appreciated were the little thoughtful touches – like having enough outlets near the bed for your phone charger, and blackout curtains that actually block light if you’re trying to sleep in.

The whole vibe here is just… relaxed, I guess? It’s the kind of place where you can walk through the hallways in your pajamas to grab ice without feeling judged, but it’s not so casual that you’d be embarrassed to bring your parents. I noticed they keep the common areas pretty quiet – no loud music or TVs blaring – which was perfect since I was there partly for work and needed to actually concentrate. The 7.5 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not going to win any design awards, it delivers on the basics really well. Sometimes you just want a place where you can get a good night’s sleep, take a hot shower, and not worry about whether you’re getting ripped off – and Green Leaves totally nails that balance.

  The hosts are very kind and helpful, this place is on nice spot, going through lovely authentic Italian streets. Our apartment was clean, cute and had everything that we needed, also parking is free.
  The only thing that could be better, is the mattress 😅

  Shower was very good and communication with the host was fast and easy.
  
  What could be improved: The bed was very uncomfortable and making lot of noise, bed frame should be replaced. The room smelt dump. Location is not not far from city centre but you need to go up a really steep hill.

  Lovely decoration and fabulous views of Verona on the way up to the accommodation.
  Is a steep walk back up from central Verona to the property, but has parking which was very helpful for us.
  There was a drinks fridge which was very helpful and good size. The bathroom was nice and there was some friendly cats on the property!

  Was very clean and homely, short walk from the centre! Unreal view of the city on the wall up to the property. Had no issues what so ever!

  1. Very clean bathroom and kitchen. Very well decorated and fully equipped.
  2. The garden around the room is lovely.
  3. A large parking space that we could use longer and explore the city

  5. The accommodation is located on a hill with a beautiful view and a wonderful green environment.

  What could be improved: The room was quite small and a bit stuffy.
  The access to the room might not be convenient for everyone, teh path was quite narrow and not very smooth (but for us it had its own atmosphere).

  Very quiet and secluded location in an upmarket, hilly suburb of Verona. From the grounds, but not from the room itself, you have a nice view over the city.
  Communication was friendly and prompt. I would be happy to return.
  
  What could be improved: you will need a car or have to be a good walker to get into town. kitchen facilities are very basic, the refrigerator doesn’t really get cold enough, and there is no indoor seating.
