I mean, it’s part of the IHG family, so you get that reliable service, but it feels way more boutique than chain – honestly, the lobby smells like fresh espresso and aged wood, with these vibrant murals nodding to Verona’s opera scene. Check-in was a breeze; the staff were chatty locals who tipped me off about skipping the tourist traps on Via Mazzini and heading straight to the quieter spots along the Adige River for sunset. Oh, and parking – if you’re driving in, they’ve got a small lot out back, but it’s tight during peak season (like July when everyone’s here for the Arena festivals), so book it ahead or just walk from the train station, which is literally five minutes away.

What really hooked me was how the place weaves into Verona’s daily rhythm – my room overlooked the bustling Corso, with these tall windows that let in the morning light and faint echoes of church bells from nearby San Fermo. The beds are plush, you know, that kind of sink-in comfort with crisp linens that actually feel luxurious without being stuffy, and the bathroom had this rainfall shower that was a godsend after traipsing around the Arena di Verona (which is a 10-minute stroll – pro tip: go early to beat the crowds). Breakfast is solid – fresh pastries, local cheeses, and decent coffee – served in a courtyard that’s shaded by these old vines, though it can get a bit crowded on weekends when day-trippers flood in. Well, minor gripe: if you’re a light sleeper, the street noise picks up in the evenings with all the scooters zipping by, but the double glazing keeps most of it out – or just close the curtains and crank the AC, which is whisper-quiet.   a pleasant hotel – exceeded our expectations. Friendly staff, small but clean rooms. we enjoyed the pleasant hotel, very well positioned – close to the train station and 10 minutes from the center.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great map with tips for a city with so much to do and see. The room is beautifully decorated.
  
  What could be improved: My room was very small. I could not open a large suitcase unless I put it on top of the bed. Windows were internal looking at pipes and walls.

  Amazing! Lovely hotel and wonderful staff. Mara was so kind and helpful and gave us such good advice. The room (102) was spacious and well appointed and we also received a card that provided specials at restaurants and discounts at shops. Elisabetta kindly booked amazing restaurants. Breakfast is delicious and parking is very convenient

  I had a really pleasant experience. The atmosphere of the hotel is quite lovely—there’s a cozy seating area with a bar in the lobby that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, handling my requests quickly and with a smile. It really made me feel welcome.
  
  It’s super close to the city center, so you can easily walk to all the main attractions. It’s also within walking distance of the train station, which is perfect if you’re planning to travel beyond Verona.
  
  If you’re looking for a place that combines excellent service, a comfortable ambiance, and a great location, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Verona.
  
  What could be improved: One regret I have is not having the chance to try the breakfast—there is too many pasticcerias around 🙂
