Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Hotel Milano & SPA***S, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes you get pleasantly surprised, and this was definitely one of those times. The moment I walked into the lobby, there was this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. It’s not flashy or trying too hard, just… well-maintained and thoughtful in a way that makes you relax your shoulders a bit.

The spa element really sets it apart from your typical mid-range hotel, and I mean that in the best way possible. After spending most of my day walking around (because let’s face it, that’s what you do when you travel), having access to proper spa facilities felt like finding a twenty-dollar bill in an old jacket pocket. The treatment rooms have this subtle lavender scent that’s not overwhelming – just enough to make you forget about whatever work emails are probably piling up back home. Actually, the whole wellness vibe extends throughout the hotel in these little ways you don’t expect. The hallways are quieter than usual, probably better soundproofing, and even the lighting feels more calming than that harsh hotel fluorescent nightmare you usually get.

What really impressed me though was how the staff seemed to genuinely know their stuff about the area. The front desk manager (I think her name was Elena?) didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map – she actually marked specific spots based on what I mentioned I was interested in. And honestly, her recommendations were spot-on. The breakfast situation is solid too, nothing fancy but fresh and with enough variety that you’re not eating the same sad croissant every morning. I noticed they source some items locally, which always makes me feel better about where I’m spending my money. The rooms themselves hit that sweet spot between comfortable and practical – good water pressure in the shower (thank god), beds that don’t leave you with a backache, and enough space to actually unpack if you’re staying more than a night or two. With a 9.1 rating, I can see why people keep coming back here. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t try to be everything to everyone, but what it does do, it does really well.

  Central location, the appartment was spacious and well equipped, the breakfast was nice but what really set the place apart is how helpful the staff is. I had a problem with a missing piece of luggage and the airline put me through so much to get it back but i felt the staff were always there to assist and support me through every step.

  The breakfast is amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is a bonus if you can get a table. The room was clean and comfortable if you don't mind cozying up.
  
  What could be improved: The room was quite small, though not as small as it looks on the website. This was okay for two sisters that get along and would be fine for a couple. The only place to sit was on the bed. We did ask when we arrived if we could move to a twin but there was no option to do this.

  First of the location of the hotel is perfect and easy to find. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was small but very stylish, cozy and it had everything it needed, even more. The terrace was nice, breakfast the best I had in this stay (within 3 hotels). The room was heated well, the bed and pillows were really comfortable and there were no noise or other issues. I would come back again.
