The name actually makes sense once you step inside – there’s this immediate sense of calm that washes over you, which honestly surprised me given that it’s a 3-star place. I mean, I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but the owners have clearly put thought into creating a peaceful atmosphere that feels authentically Italian without trying too hard.

The rooms are simple but thoughtfully arranged, and I appreciated that they didn’t cram unnecessary furniture into small spaces. The beds are surprisingly comfortable – not luxury hotel level, but definitely better than what I’ve experienced at similar properties. What really won me over was the attention to small details: proper bedside lighting for reading, decent water pressure in the shower, and windows that actually block out street noise when closed. The 7.7 rating feels about right; it’s solid without being spectacular, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want. I did notice the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in some rooms, though it worked fine in the common areas.

The location in Verona is one of those situations where you’re not right in the tourist chaos, but you’re close enough that a fifteen-minute walk gets you to the main sights. Actually, I preferred this – you get to see more of how locals live, and there are some excellent family-run restaurants nearby that most visitors never discover. The staff genuinely seems to care about your experience, which isn’t always a given at this price point. They’re not hovering over you, but when I needed restaurant recommendations or help figuring out the bus routes, they had real answers, not just generic tourist board suggestions. Parking can be tricky if you’re driving – it’s that typical Italian city situation where you’ll probably end up walking a few blocks, but the staff will point you toward the best options. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted a base for exploring the Veneto region without paying historic center prices.

  What could be improved: purtroppo devo devi che la struttura è stata un pò deludente! della posizione non potevamo lamentarci ma all'interno dell' appartamento abbiamo riscontrato molte problematiche.
  il soffione della doccia era rotta per questo veniva l'acqua lentamente, su una delle camere era impossibile alloggiare dato che due lampadine erano rotte. faccio questa recensione solamente per aiutare i proprietari a fare di meglio. grazie

  What could be improved: Die Bezahlung der Kurzaxe war sehr umständlich und vom Vermieter sehr benetrant eingedordert worden. Eine Begleichumg vor Ort wurde nicht akzeptiert. Es musste Geld nach Ireland überwiesen werden. Ob das Korrekt ist? Die Kommission der Überweisung war fast so hoch wie die Taxe.
  
  Teller waren Dreckig. Abtrocknungstuch fehlte obschon man aufgefordert wurde in den Hausregeln sein Geschirr abzuwaschen. Es Stank sehr fest nach Gas in der ganzen Wohnung. Wassereintritt unterhalb der Küche?!? Geheitzt wurde auch nicht. Es war sehr sehr kalt.

  Apartament dobrze wyposażony (klimatyzacja, pralka, kuchenka). Stały kontakt z właścicielem, który zdalnie sterował klimatyzacją, niezależnie od pory dnia i nocy.

  Właściciel mieszkania jest bardzo miły i pomocny. Mieszkanie zarezerwowaliśmy w dniu przyjazdu, pół godziny przed zameldowaniem. Nie było problemu z odbiorem kluczy z uwagi na zamek elektroniczny obsługiwany zdalnie. Warunek konieczny – dostęp do internetu. Instrukcja wysłana przez WhatsApp była bardzo jasna i pomocna przy pierwszym wejściu do mieszkania.

  Located in a quiet residential area accessible through public transport (multiple bus stops nearby). Grocery store and restaurants also within walking distance. Perfect base for sightseeing and day trips to Lake Garda, Venice and Milan.

  fine as a self catering apartment, otherwise, not suitable for our needs.
  
  What could be improved: The location. The fact there was no soap, tea, coffee – even a welcome surprise of snacks which we’ve experienced previously in other establishments. What I didn’t like was the cost for the night. It was initially $138 Australian dollars and when I booked and paid it shot up to $328! No explanation from Booking.com? Disappointed as I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time.
