The name literally means “Aurora’s Balcony,” and you know what – it actually lives up to that romantic promise instead of just being some marketing nonsense.

What struck me first was how the staff genuinely seemed to care about getting things right. I mean, you can tell within five minutes of checking in whether a place has soul or not, and this one definitely does. The rooms have this warm, lived-in elegance that feels authentically Italian rather than trying too hard to impress tourists. The balconies (and yes, most rooms actually have them) aren’t just tiny afterthoughts either – they’re proper spaces where you can sit with your morning espresso and actually enjoy the view. The whole place has this relaxed energy that’s hard to fake, probably because it’s family-run and they’ve clearly put thought into the details that actually matter to travelers.

Here’s the thing though – that 9.2 rating isn’t just inflated review bombing. The beds are genuinely comfortable, the bathrooms are spotless without feeling sterile, and the breakfast situation is way better than you’d expect from a three-star spot. They do this thing with fresh pastries that I’m pretty sure come from a local bakery rather than some industrial supplier, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re starting your day. The wifi actually works (revolutionary concept, I know), and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine taking off every time it kicks in. Small things, but they add up when you’re trying to get a decent night’s sleep or video call home without apologizing for background noise every two minutes. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the place just smells right – like clean linens and maybe a hint of lemon, not that harsh chemical smell you get at some hotels that makes you wonder what they’re trying to cover up.

  The property is very good; rooms are well equipped, WiFi works very well, decoration is nice and the house is comfortable (the bathroom is particularly spacious). Location is particularly convenient if you have to work in the University campus at Cantarane Street (10 min walk).
  
  What could be improved: Unless you keep every window fully closed, the traffic noise is too loud and very busy almost at all times. The noise from the fridge is also excessive (probably it is too old). The property is far from the city center (requires a bus ride).

  A beautiful clean apartment with a balcony and walking distance to the centre. Lots of facilities to use inside the property. Lovely helpful and communicative staff that let us amend our booking with no issues and allowed us to leave our bags after check out as we had a late flight. Would definitely book again 100%!

  Top appartement in great location. All rooms looked just like they did in the photos. The balcony was a highlight. Great neighboorhoud with really friendly neighbours. All sights are easily reachable by foot or bus, with bus stations really close by. The Hosts were very friendly and communication was good. We would highly recommend this appartment if you stay in Verona.

  This beautiful apartment felt like home, in that it was clean and comfortable, yet still had room for us to settle in. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the balcony is a gorgeous place to have dinner. The apartment is outside the old town, but is a nice walk in to tourist. Conversely, it is really easy to pick up the bus into town. Canadians will appreciate Via Zamboni just down the road!
