You’ll notice the attention to details that actually matter to travelers – good lighting for reading, decent water pressure, and windows that actually open (trust me, this matters more than you think). The staff genuinely seems to care about whether you’re comfortable, which is becoming rarer these days.

What really won me over, though, is how Il Cortiletto manages to punch above its weight class. That 8.1 rating isn’t an accident – it comes from consistently doing the fundamentals right rather than trying to dazzle you with flashy amenities you probably won’t use anyway. The breakfast setup is simple but thoughtful, and they actually know how to make proper coffee, which honestly can make or break a morning. I found myself lingering there longer than usual, partly because the atmosphere invited it and partly because rushing felt somehow inappropriate in a place this peaceful. It’s the kind of spot where you might end up chatting with other guests – not because you’re forced into some awkward communal situation, but because the relaxed vibe naturally encourages it.   Buona la posizione, decentrata ma assolutamente facile da raggiungere a due passi dal centro storico.
  Camera spaziosa, letto comodo, ingresso indipendente.
  
  What could be improved: Zero accoglienza, nulla nel frigo, né -ad esempio- una macchina per espresso con cialde.
  Bagno pulito e spazioso ma:
  – mancanza del bidet (malgrado lo spazio avrebbe consentito di metterlo)
  – acqua calda con poca pressione
  – scovolino del water "inguardabile"

  Quiet location, close to the city centre and to several bus stations, clean, with everything I might have needed.
  
  What could be improved: Very cold floors with no dispensable slippers, and overall the apartment is very cold, which might be beneficial in summer months. However there is heating available and the blanket is very warm as well. Very little natural light coming in with the apartment being on the ground floor and with windows facing into the yard.

  Het is een proper, erg ruim en nieuw appartement met een mooie badkamer, goede faciliteiten en prima airco en ook een geweldige ligging.
  
  What could be improved: Het zonlicht komt 's morgens overal binnen en kan op geen enkele manier gedempt worden. Voor sommigen is dit aangenaam, maar voor ons een echt probleem, dat makkelijk verholpen kan worden. De airco is geweldig, alleen jammer dat deze niet mag opstaan als je het appartement verlaat. Het zou leuk zijn in een fris appartement te komen na de zomerhitte.

  Die Altstadt und das Zentrum waren fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Hatten 5 Minuten zum Teatro Romano zum Vinicio Capossela Konzert. Das Apartment war gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattet Super bequemes Bett . Gute und verlässliche Betreuung durch Ari
